The Cyst is one of the key items in the Reckoning map that you need for obtaining the newly added Gorgofex wonder weapon.
And while it has a definite spawn spot, to collect it, you must charge it.
Moreover, after collecting it, you have to further charge it using Aetheric Flora fungal plants before moving to the next step.
I saw some players getting confused in this step, and thus prepared this detailed guide covering how you can get The Cyst.
I also share the location of all three Aetheric Flora plants while talking about how you can charge The Cyst near them in Black Ops 6 Zombies Reckoning map.
How to get The Cyst in the Reckoning map in Black Ops 6 Zombies
You can get The Cyst quest item from the T1 Bioweapons Lab area.
You can access it after solving the periodic table puzzle and obtaining the three-digit door code.
Once you are in the room, look on the left side and you will find the machine holding The Cyst.
To collect it, you must interact with it.
Once done, the entire lab will be enclosed in a circle as you see in the above screenshot.
Now, to collect The Cyst, you must charge it with around three Vermin souls.
Thankfully, while you are in the lab, when you take out a zombie, there’s a high chance a Vermin will pop out of it.
Once the Vermin is out, take him out.
Make sure you are near The Cyst.
If you do it correctly, the Vermin will start floating and soon turn into a yellow orb and get absorbed into The Cyst.
Repeat the steps a few times.
After that, you must collect zombie souls, which is very easy, as all you have to do is stand near The Cyst and take out zombies.
Similar to before, they will turn into a yellow orb and will get absorbed into The Cyst.
Once you have charged it will souls, go near it and press the interact button to collect it.
All three Aetheric Flora plant locations in the Reckoning map in Black Ops 6 Zombies
You can find the Aetheric Flora fungal plants to charge The Cyst in the T1 Quantum Computing Core area.
Assuming you were still in the Mutant Research Lab area, you can use the hole in the ground to drop down to the Quantum Computing Core area.
Once you are on ground, head to the below shared Aetheric Flora locations to charge The Cyst.
Aetheric Flora 1 location
The first Aetheric Flora is located at the above marked location in the southern part of the T1 Quantum Computing Core area.
To charge The Cyst, all you have to do is stand near the Aetheric Flora until the meter on the left turns down to zero.
Thankfully, the charging progress holds.
So what it means is that, while charging, if you are surrounded by zombies, you can run off and then come back and continue from where you left off.
Aetheric Flora 2 location
The second Aetheric Flora is located in the western part of the room at the above marked location.
Head there and charge The Cyst.
Aetheric Flora 3 location
The last Aetheric Flora is located in the southwest part of the Quantum Computing Core area.
Head there.
Stand near it to charge The Cyst.
Once done, you can move to the final step of obtaining the Gorgofex.
