The Generator System is one of the three remaining key infrastructures of Westport that you must sabotage to convince Vigilant Hogarth to defect to Auntie’s Choice and move to Fairfields.
It is a part of The Brain Benders of Auntie’s Choice side quest and holds a lot of significance, as your choices change the fate of the NPCs at Westport.
That said, while finding the Generator System is somewhat easier, many players struggle to obtain the Keycard – Westport Generator System.
Don’t worry!
I also spent hours looking for it, only to realise I was looking for the wrong thing.
So with that said, here’s my guide on where to find Keycard – Westport Generator System and the Generator itself and sabotage it in The Outer Worlds 2.
Where to find the Westport Generator System in The Outer Worlds 2
The Westport Generator System is located in the southwest part of the settlement at the above marked location.
Teleport to Westport and from the entrance, make your way towards the buildings found on the right side as marked in the above screenshot.
The giant damaged building is the Generator System room.
Where to find Keycard – Westport Generator System in The Outer Worlds 2
The Keycard – Westport Generator System is found inside the Generator Room itself.
The thing is, you were never meant to access the Generator room via the Keycard.
Head to the above player icon location, and you will find yourself on the other side of the Generator Room.
As you can see in the above screenshot, there’s a breach in the walls that you can use to get inside.
Turn slight right and you will find boxes and structures that you can mantle and climb to reach the roof.
Once you are in the room, jump to the Generator building’s roof and go near the edge.
Drop down and head inside.
How to sabotage the Westport Generator System in The Outer Worlds 2
To sabotage the Westport Generator System, examine it.
You will get different options, based on your skills, choose any.
As a part of the quest, you should already have the Portable Galvanic Subverter that you can use to sabotage.
And that is it. You just destroyed the only thing holding Westport together. How do you feel? Jokes aside. Trust me. You did good, as you will realise later in the game.
