Whether you are unable to find the Giant Goblin Butcher or the Goblins suffering with Dancing Fever or any other such objectives in the game, my Throne and Liberty Butcher in the Fields Codex quest walkthrough guide is all you need.
While progressing through the main story quest in Throne and Liberty, players eventually unlock different Exploration-type quests in the Codex that they can clear to earn lucrative rewards.
While most of these quests are relatively simple and are linked to a particular area, completing some of these objectives becomes a real challenge for some players because of how they are written.
That said, Butcher in the Fields is also one of the Exploration type quests you can start from the Codex.
It mainly revolves around gathering items and killing specific types of Goblins found in the Urstella Fields.
But as I said earlier, while the objectives seem straightforward, you may run past them and miss them even though it is in your sight.

How to get the Butcher in the Fields quest in Throne and Liberty
In Throne and Liberty, you can get the Butcher in the Fields quest from the Urstella Fields section of the Exploration tab in your Codex, which you can access via the main menu.
When I was doing the quest, it was already unlocked for me; however, if you find it locked, you will see the unlock criteria on top of it.
It mostly revolves around progressing the main story, reaching a certain level, and such things.
Butcher in the Fields Codex quest walkthrough
Upon taking the Butcher in the Fields quest in Throne and Liberty, you get four objectives:
- Collect a Gatherable Item at Urstella Fields
- Defeat goblins suffering from Dancing Fever near the Starlight Stones
- Defeat Giant Goblin Butcher
- Collect Goblin Loot from Urstella Fields
Collect a Gatherable Item at Urstella Fields
In this section of the quest, you must explore the Urstella Fields and gather items through mining, foraging, or logging.
The entire area is full of Star Tree, Wild Herb, Gigangtic Moonstone, and other resource nodes you can gather by simply interacting with them.
For your convenience, I have shared the exact location of the Star Tree in the above screenshot.
Defeat goblins suffering from Dancing Fever near the Starlight Stones
To complete this part of the quest, you must kill any of the Goblins dancing near a bonfire in the Urstella Fields.
You can find Goblin Shaman, Goblin Stone Thrower, and Goblin Fighter dancing near the above shared map locations.
Head there and defeat any of them, and you will complete the objective.
Defeat Giant Goblin Butcher
Defeating the Giant Goblin Butcher is one of the hardest objectives in the entire quest, as finding one is very challenging, especially because when other players defeat it, sometimes, it takes a lot of time to spawn another.

Go to the player icon location in the above map screenshot, and you will find the Giant Goblin Butcher.
If the enemy is not there, it means someone else has defeated him.
Don’t worry!
Explore the other nearby locations as it spawns there, too, or head back to the Giant Goblin Butcher’s location, and you will see him there.
Collect Goblin Loot from Urstella Fields
You can find Goblin Loot crates all around the Urstella Fields. Head to the player icon location as shown in the above map screenshot.
There you will find the Goblin Loot crate. Interact with it to collect Goblin Loot.
Wait for some time!
Collect the Goblin Loot from the same crate again.
