If you are unable to find Matchstick at Cloudspire Outskirts despite looking everywhere in Wuchang Fallen Feathers, don’t worry! I have shared his location in this guide.
Matchstick is one of the three members of the Great Yonder Gang.
After finding Glut, another member of the gang, and asking him to return to Shen Jing’an, the head of the Great Yonder Gang, and obtaining the Wedding Attire from her, when you talk to Matchstick, he will tell you about his grandmother.
Upon exhausting his dialogues, he moves to the Cloudspire Outskirts area.
To progress the Great Yonder Gang questline, you must find and talk to him and hand over a key item called Vitality Bowl that you can get from his grandma.
However, finding him is difficult as the area is big, filled with the infuriating land mines, and no details on where to start your search.
In the wake of that, I prepared this detailed guide sharing the location of Matchstick in the Cloudspire Outskirts area and how you can get there.
Where is Matchstick in Cloudspire Outskirts in Wuchang Fallen Feathers
You can find Matchstick inside his home, located somewhat close to the second signal fire in the Cloudspire Outskirts area.
Note
Before heading to Matchstick’s location, make sure you have the Vitality Bowl, which you can get from his Grandmother at Mort Grotto.
If you talk to him before getting the Vitality Bowl, he will head to the Mort Grotto mines, where he is killed by one of the monsters.
You can still get his Token as a drop from one of the enemies.

From the Cloudspire Outskirts Shrine, head straight.
Take the door on the side and then the ladder.
After that, exit the building through the door in front of you.
Turn right and keep moving straight.
From the first signal fire tower location, enter the house in front of it and take the ladder to reach the higher ground.
Once you get off the ladder, stick to the left side and follow the main path.
You have to go through the stairs that you see in the above screenshot.
Once you are on the other side, keep moving and take the first left.
Move towards the burning house and then take the path on the left side.
From the cannon, head straight and take the path on the right side.
There, on the right side, you will find a two-story building.
Matchstick is on the ground floor.

Head inside and talk to Matchstick.
Exhaust his dialogues.
If you have already got the Vitality Bowl from his Grandma, you will get the option to hand it to him.
Select the option:
Hand over the Vitality Bowl
Matchstick will cry, and handing him the bowl means his grandmother is no more.
Reload the area, and he will move to the Inn, where you find the Great Yonder Gang.

Did you check back at his Granny’s house near Grotto or the Inn where you meet the Gang for the first time?
No i got it. If you fail his quest by first finding him in cloudspire and THEN getting the bowl, his body will be in the mine. You can get there from Mort Grotto by crossing the bridge, or snowy passage going to the right across his grandma. There is this vast cave eith many zombie miners mining despair causing cristals with wooden passage high above them. Matchsticks body is on the ground in the middle of the mine and one enemy has his token.
