The Wedding Attire is a quest item, which you can also later unlock as armor for Wuchang.
It is a key item required for progressing interrelated NPC questlines like Shen Yanping’s quest, The Great Yonder Gang’s quest, and, to an extent, a few others.
Just like the Trinity Bell, the White Jade Dumpling, and such quest items, there’s no clear description on where you can find this wedding dress that Shen Yanping is looking for.
As a result, many players get stuck. And since you can easily nuke NPC questlines by not doing things in order, finding the wedding attire before progressing further is a must.

How to start Shen Yanping’s quest in Wuchang Fallen Feathers
To start Shen Yanping’s quest in the game, from the Clouspire City Shrine, you must enter the house in front of it and exit through the door on the opposite side.
After that, you must head straight and climb up the ladder to reach the upper half of the city.
Right after you get off the last ladder, you will find Shen Yanping standing near the edge, muttering something.
Talk to him and he will introduce himself.
After that, select the dialogue option:
Agree to help
Once you do that, Shen Yanping will tell you that he is looking for a set of two pieces: a phoenix coronet and a vermillion wedding dress, for the bride-to-be.
Where to find the Vermillion Wedding Dress for Shen Yanping in Wuchang Fallen Feathers
In Wuchang Fallen Feathers, you can get the Wedding Attire from the Head of the Yonder Gang, Shen Jing’an.
First of all! From Shen Yanping’s location, head straight and take the first right.
Keep moving, and you will spot two NPCs inside an Inn.
Head inside and talk to the girl with the Antler Hat.
Exhaust her dialogues!
She will ask you to join the Great Yonder Gang. Accept the offer by selecting the first dialogue option:
Join the gang
Doing so will start the Great Yonder Gang questline and will also reward you with the Great Yonder Antler Cap x1.
Keep talking to her, and she will tell you that if you find an NPC named Glut, she will give you the Wedding Attire.
You can find Glut at the Cloudspire Market District.
When you talk to Glut, you must select the option “Search for Shen Jing’an” to get the Wedding Attire.

Once you find and send Glut back to Shen Jing’an, reload the area and talk to her to get the Wedding Attire.

Now, return to Shen Yanping’s location and talk to him.
Select the dialogue option:
Show the wedding attire
He will tell you to give it to the Madam of the Snowfall Palace, progressing both The Great Yonder Gang and Shen Yanping’s questlines.
