The Great Outdoors is one of the early quests you come across in WoW: Forever that teaches you the basic buffs you get from being well-rested.
While the quest is simple, some players still find it difficult to progress and complete. For them, my walkthrough will come in handy.
The Great Outdoors quest walkthrough
You can start The Great Outdoors quest at the highlighted location above.
Head there and talk to the NPC named Raan to start the quest.
Once you have the quest active, you will have two objectives:
- Sit near the campfire
- Gain the Boosted Rest buff
To sit near the Campfire, you can simply press the ‘X’ key or type ‘/sit’ in the chat. While the quest is bugged for many players, using the latter method works.
Once you complete the first objective, wait for the buff progress bar to complete. You can see it near the mini-map. Once it reaches 100%, you will gain the Boosted Rest buff and complete the second objective and the quest.
After that, you can talk to Raan and turn in the quest.
