Gathering Bone Fragments quest walkthrough
You can start the Gathering Bone Fragments quest by talking to the NPC named Demed at the Wayfaring Camp.
Head there and talk to Demed.
After that, you will get the main objective of the quest, “Collect bone chips (0/5).” You can obtain Bone Chips by defeating and skinning crocodile-like creatures found all around the shore.
You can find them at the marked locations above and at other spots too.
Defeat them and use the Hunting Knife to butcher them to obtain Bone Chips. Each creature gives two Bone Chips.
For 5, you must defeat and butcher at least three of the creatures.
Once done, head back to the camp and talk to Demed to complete the quest.
