Abaco Island is the first island you come across after obtaining the Jackdaw as part of the “This Tyro Captain” main quest.
Just like any other Island in the game, it is filled with a few secrets and activities, one of which, includes, finding a Treasure Map that leads to a Treasure.
While obtaining the Treasure Map is not difficult, finding the actual Treasure using the location hint is, mainly because players don’t know where to find the Island shown on the map.
And so, I prepared this handy guide covering everything you need to know.
Where to find the Treasure Map on the Abaco Island?
In Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, you can find the Treasure Map from Abaco Island on a dead body at coordinates 581, 804.
Head there, and you can easily spot it. Also, if you open your map and zoom in, you will see the Treasure Map icon.
Once you obtain the map, you will see that it leads to Salt Lagoon Island.
Note: You can access the Treasure Maps via Codex > Database.
What rewards do you get from the Treasure?
The Treasure found on the Salt Lagoon rewards you with:
- Reales x3,000
- Serpent Figurehead Design Plan x1
Where to find Salt Lagoon and the Treasure hidden on it?
The Salt Lagoon Island is located in the Girbara region, southeast of Nassau, at the above-marked location.
As for the Treasure, you can find it at the following coordinates: 719, 607. Head there, and you will find the two big rocks or boulders, whatever you call them.
Head to the marked area.
You will get the prompt to ‘Dig Up.’ Do it and open the chest to claim the rewards.
