If you are looking to farm Crucible weapons and Crucible Arts early in the game in Nioh 3 to get the best start, I’ve got you covered with this guide.

Crucible Weapons, as the name says, are special weapons that you can only obtain within the Crucible.

These weapons deal more damage but also come with a debuff, along with a chance to drop with a Crucible Art.

These Crucible Arts are what you should be focusing on farming, as once you unlock them, you can use them on any weapon of the same weapon category.

But then again, to unlock these Crucible Arts, you need Crucible Weapons. And that is why I prepared this early game farming guide.

Early Crucible Arts and Crucible weapons farming in Nioh 3

You can farm Crucible Weapons and Crucible Arts early in the game via the Crucible Manifested Battle Scroll that you can unlock after completing the main quest that goes by the same name.

To get started, first of all, make sure you have progressed the game’s story until the Crucible Manifested quest or have completed it.

It is a part of the first main quest you get after getting access to the open world, after completing the prologue.

For players who are currently doing the quest, can skip below to the farming part. As for the ones who have completed the quest, to replay it, head to any Shrine.

Interact with it and navigate to the‘Battle Scrolls’ section.

After that, select the Crucible Manifested quest from it and begin the mission.

Once you spawn, make your way to the Himamatsu Castle Town – Clan Estate Shrine.

Once you arrive there, you will see an Ippon-Datara Elite Yokai near the Shrine.

Farm him for the Crucible Weapons with unique Crucible Arts.

Note: You can farm any elite enemy.

While the Ippon-Datara is an easy farm, you can literally farm any elite enemy or enemy in general for the Crucible Weapons.

Once you have enough Crucible Weapons or the one that you were looking for, something like the Severing Spin, make sure to max out your familiarity with the respective weapon to unlock the Crucible Art as a weapon skill for all weapons of the same weapon category.

Also, don’t worry about weapon level, as you can increase the level of your weapons and gear in general at the Blacksmith later in the game.

On top of that, to be honest, this early farm is more efficient because, in the end, what you are looking for are the Crucible Arts.

Once you unlock them, you can use them on a different weapon, granted it is of the same category.
