Let’s be honest—many of us like the Zombies game mode in Call of Duty games more than the Campaign, and Multiplayer and Black Ops 6 is no exception.
The seventh entry in the Black Ops franchise, Black Ops 6, has finally brought back the round-based Zombies game mode with a ton of nuances, new and old mechanics, and features where players can spend thousands of hours unlocking the Mastery Camos and such things.
That said, surviving in the Zombies game mode on either Liberty Falls or the Terminus maps is daunting.
No matter how good you are at maneuvering or your movement or aiming skills, you will die in the latter rounds if you are not using the correct equipment.

So, without any further ado, let us check out the best guns you should use to survive longer in Black Ops 6 Zombies.

Black Ops 6 Zombies best weapons
Black Ops 6 features eight unique weapon classes with a decent variety of weapons in each class.
However, when it comes to the Zombies game mode, only a few weapon classes perform well. These are:
- Assault Rifles
- SMGs
- Shotguns
- Pistols
You can also use Sniper Rifles to complete challenges and such, but I don’t recommend having them as your primary and only weapon.
On the same note, I don’t like using two weapons in Zombies. I know I know, Gaz told us, “switching is better than reloading,” but, in Zombies, so does the Pack-A-Punch cost.
That being said, I am also not taking the Wonder Weapons into account.
All three are good and one of the best, if not the best, weapon choices to use in Black Ops 6 Zombies, but they are locked and have an RNG involved if you want to obtain them from the Mystery Weapon Box.
With that being out of the way, here are the best weapons to use in Black Ops 6 Zombies:
- Ames 85
- AS Val
- C9
- Jackal PDW
- Marine SP
- ASG-89
- LR 7.62
- GS45

Best assault rifles in Black Ops 6 Zombies
The best ARs that you can use in the Zombies game modes are the Ames 85 and the AS Val.
If I have to choose one, I would recommend the Ames 85, as it offers impressive Fire Rate, Firepower, Mobility, Accuracy, and Weapon Handling.
Usually, since we are talking about the Zombies game mode in particular, you can sacrifice the Mobility and Accuracy for more extra Magazine Size and Firepower.
Best SMGs in Black Ops 6 Zombies
Whether it is Multiplayer or the Zombies game mode, the C9 and Jackal PDW are the best SMGs.
However, if you are bored with the two weapons, try the PP-919 Bizon, as it is also a great choice thanks to its vast Magazine capacity.
I used the C9 a lot in solo Zombies runs and later switched to the Jackal PDW, which, with the right attachments, was a more fun and powerful SMG to use.
Lastly, regarding raw stats, both the SMGs offer almost similar stats.
When compared side by side, the C9 has better Accuracy than the Jackal PDW, whereas the latter has better Mobility.
In Zombies mode, having good Mobility is always better than having more Accuracy!
Best Shotguns in Black Ops 6 Zombies
When it comes to Shotguns, the ASG-89 is the best-in-slot weapon that I recommend using, especially with Fire Mod.
Aside from that, the Marine SP is also a great option. While both Shotguns offer almost similar stats when it comes to Mobility, Accuracy, and Handling, the Marine SP is better when it comes to raw Firepower.
On the other hand, the ASG-89 is excellent when it comes to Magazine Size, Fire Rate, Bullet Spread, and such factors.
I personally prefer using the ASG-89 more than the Marine SP in Zombies as it offers enough Firepower to take out Zombies in one hit.
Moreover, the big Magazine Size and great Fire Rate really comes in handy while dealing with hordes of zombies.
Best Sniper Rifles in Black Ops 6 Zombies
When it comes to Sniper Rifles, I don’t have much opinion to share. I think none of them are suitable for Zombies game mode.
However, since there are challenges associated with them, the LR 7.62 is the best choice to use.
Why? Because the weapon hardly has any recoil, it offers the highest Firepower and is highly accurate.
Single shots can take out multiple zombies!
Although, if Bolt Action Sniper Rifles are not your thing, you can also use the Semi-Automatic SVD Sniper Rifle as an alternative.
Best Pistols in Black Ops 6 Zombies
The best Pistol for the Zombies game mode is the GS45, not because of its stats or anything.
But because of the fact that you can cover it in the Legendary Mustang and Sally dual wield Pistols from the original Black Ops.
The dual wield, explosive rounds with AoE DMG, and excellent overall stats make the GS45 the best Pistol in Black Ops 6 Zombies and a tremendously fun weapon to use in general.
