If you are looking to get the Handbrake from the Toolshed to progress and complete the Liberty Falls easter egg or main mission, whatever you like to call it, you must know how to spawn the Groundskeeper Zombie to obtain the Toolshed Key and the Toolshed’s location in Black Ops 6 Zombies.
Liberty Falls is one of the two Zombies game mode maps available in Black Ops 6. It is relatively small but filled with many activities and secrets.
One of the major ones is the main quest involving Dr. Panos that players must complete to unlock the Ray Gun and a ton of lucrative rewards.
However, it is not as easy as it sounds, as there are no direct hints or waypoints or any clear objective that players can follow to complete the quest.
Among the many steps in completing the Liberty Falls main quest in Black Ops 6 Zombies, one of the most infuriating ones is finding the Toolshed Key to obtain the Handbrake item required for crafting the Jet Gun.
So, without any further ado, let us check out how to spawn the Groundskeeper Zombie to get and use the Toolshed Key in the game.

How to spawn the Groundskeeper Zombie in Black Ops 6 Zombies
You can spawn the Groundskeeper Zombie by interacting with the machine on the right side of the Church room, as shown in the above screenshot.
Once you do that, you will interact in a sequence where Panos will talk about how he is trapped and how we can help him get rid of the Dark Aether Rift.

For players who don’t know, you can interact with the machine by:
- Pressing the ‘F’ key on the PC
- Pressing the ‘☐’ button on PlayStation
- Pressing the ‘B’ button on the Xbox
Afterward, head to the Graveyard next to the Church, where you will find the Groundskeeper Zombie.
He is easy to identify thanks to the “Groundskeeper” name that appears on top of his head and the fact that instead of attacking you, it runs away.
I have tested it out many times!
Even though many players would recommend getting through different rounds while being in the Church Graveyard to spawn the Groundskeeper Zombie—it doesn’t work.
If it did for you—that’s great!
But for a 100% guaranteed spawn, just follow the steps I mentioned above, and you will be able to spawn the Groundskeeper Zombie.

To get the Toolshed Key in Black Ops 6, you must spawn and kill the Groundskeeper Zombie in the Church Graveyard.
Once you kill him, he will drop the Toolshed Key, which you can pick up by pressing the interact button.
