FL4K and the Last Resort DLC’s new map, Providence Island, in Borderlands 4 offers a wide range of new activities in the form of Tiki Hut Safe Houses that you can unlock, Tediore Lockdown, and Occupied Sectors, and two new world events, Tediore Digi-Rifts and The Furious Earth.
There are also collectibles and hidden secrets, like the Substation Switches, which eventually unlock the hidden boss, Vulkorr, and the Substation Satisfaction achievement.
That being said, of the new activities, some, like the Tediore Lockdown and Occupied Sectors, are important, as these unlock new bosses whom you can farm for their dedicated drops.
To keep things simple, I prepared this guide with the locations of all activities on the new map.
All FL4K DLC Tiki Bar safe house locations
You can find three Tiki Bar safe houses on Providence Island. These are:
The Surly Centipede
The Wrecked Ratch
The Sauced Snake
All require you to kick-start a generator, defeat waves of enemies while remaining in the circle until the generator is at 100%, and then pull the lever to power up the safe house.
Tediore Lockdown locations
There are two Tediore Lockdowns:
Shere Cliff
Clear to unlock Big Bada Boom Drone, boss.
Lapillus Bend
Clear to unlock Flame Controller Jayson, boss.
Occupied Sectors locations
There are two Occupied Sectors:
Akela Island
Clear to unlock Drilla Killa, boss.
Pyroclast Grotto
Clear to unlock Black Grin, boss.
Providence Map and FL4K DLC new rift and world event
Two new open-world activities:
Tediore Digi-Rifts
The Tediore Digi-Rifts are a better, more nuanced version of Rift-type activities we have had so far. They randomly appear around Providence Island.
Open the map and look for its icon. After that, head there and go inside the rift.
Defeat the mobs to spawn the boss. Defeat the boss to clear the rift.
New World Event: The Furious Earth
The Furious Earth is the new World Event on Providence Island that appears every twenty to thirty minutes on the map.
You can spot it with the big gush of lava coming out of the ground. Head there, defeat the nearby enemies to spawn the boss. Defeat the boss and move to the next lava spot. Keep repeating!
