Borderlands 4 Sept 10 major update is finally live, and along with that, we also got Story Pack 2: FL4K and The Last Resort, Bounty Pack 5: Amara and the Vile Shadows, a new Vault Card, and a brand-new Vault Hunter, Loveless.
While most players already know how to access all the new DLCs, Vault Hunters, and Bounty Packs, returning and new players might find it hard to navigate. So I put together this short, handy beginner’s guide.
Starting Story Pack 2: FL4K and The Last Resort
In Borderlands 4, there are two ways to access Story Pack 2: from within the game or directly via the New Game menu.
If you are using an existing Vault Hunter or started as a Level 30 Loveless, to start the Story Pack, you must head to Bones of Sanctuary.
It is the starting point for FL4K and The Last Resort.
Once you spawn, head to the marked area.
You will find the DLC quest marker and a broadcast from FL4K. Interact with it and start the “FL4K and The Last Resort” quest.
Now, head inside Sanctuary.
Interact with the Welcome Home door to head to Providence Island, the new DLC area.
How to start as a Level 13 or Level 30 Loveless
To play as a Level 13 or 30 Loveless, from the main menu, select the ‘New Game’ option.
Choose whether you want to start any of the DLC, which locks your VH starting level at 13, or a New Game – Ultimate Vault Hunter.
Enable Shared Progression.
Now select Loveless.
