Enotria: The Last Song is a Soulslike game, and thus, many players expect it to offer similar gameplay mechanics as we see in the Souls games and Soulslikes.
One of the staple mechanics in the said genre is the backstab attacks that players can perform from behind. But when players try to do the same in Enotria: The Last Song, they aren’t able to perform it as the hit is a regular attack.

The short answer is no! While you can stun (Unraveled state) enemies using your parries and attacks by filling the Unraveling Meter to perform a riposte attack, you cannot backstab in Enotria.
I have tested it myself on regular, elite, and boss enemies, and sadly, backstab attacks don’t work even if you sneak behind them.

Moreover, before writing this article, I checked the skills available in Path of Innovators, and it seems no unlockable skill allows you to perform a backstab attack in Enotria.
