This new 5v5 arena shooter from NetEase is visually vibrant and mechanically compelling, thanks to its unique Shard Card system.

But whether you’re intrigued by its stunning visuals or fun gameplay, you may be curious to know if your system can handle it.

FragPunk is an Unreal Engine 5 game, similar to NetEase’s Marvel Rivals.

However, most recent UE 5 games have an optimization problem, especially on PC, and Fragpunk is no different in this regard.

Steam Deck is a portable PC, which makes things more concerning.

Is FragPunk Steam Deck verified?

Yes, you can play FragPunk on Steam Deck.

However, the game isn’t Steam Deck verified as of this writing.

FragPunk is not included in Steam Deck’s ‘Recently Verified’ section of its website, which means it just has a ‘Playable’ status at the moment.

It means, you can play the game on Steam Deck, but it might have some technical or performance issues.

For instance, the UI and controls might not feel appropriate.

Fortunately, FragPunk’s closed beta version was well-optimized on Steam Deck.

It boasted a steady 60 FPS at 1280×800 resolution, with occasional dips during intense moments.
