Whether you are looking for the different methods to farm the new Core Strength gear set in The Division 2, details on how to obtain its blueprint, or its stat bonuses and such things, I’ve got you covered with this guide.
Core Strength is one of the two new gear sets added to the game with the Year 8 Season 1 “Rise Up” update, with the other one being Royal Works.
Both the new gear sets open a lot of build crafting potential, with Core Strength in particular being more suited for hybrid builds, thanks to its set piece bonuses.
That is why many players want to farm the new Core Strength gear set in The Division 2 but don’t know where to start.
For such players, this guide will be handy as it covers everything you need to know about the Core Strength gear set.
Core Strength armor set bonuses and talents

Here’s a look at the different set bonuses that you get upon equipping Core Strength gear pieces:
- 2 Pieces equipped: +10% Weapon Handling
- 3 Pieces equipped: +5% Weapon Damage; +5% Armor; +5% Skill Efficiency
- 4 Pieces equipped unlock a new unique Talent.
Talent: Core Exercise
For each Core attribute, receive 40% of the other two Core Attributes’ bonuses. Skill Tiers count as 15% Skill Efficiency when these attributes are applied.
Apart from that, each of the armor pieces, except the Backpack, features random Core Attributes.
Chest and Backpack Talents
Chest Bonus – Inner Core
Increase the percentage of the bonuses you receive from the other Cores from 40% to 75%.
Backpack Bonus – Outer Core
This Talent does not provide a direct change to the Core Exercise Talent. That said, the Backpack features three Core Attributes.
How to get the Core Strength gear set

In The Division 2, you can get the Core Strength gear set by target farming them via activities like The Summit, Retaliation, and others.
You can also obtain them from Rise Up Season Caches.

The Summit

That said, I think running The Summit at high difficulty is the best way to farm the Core Strength gear set.

Once you start The Summit.

Core Strength gear pieces can drop from any of the mobs as a random drop.
Retaliation mode

You can also set the Core Strength gear set as target loot for the Retaliation mode. And, farm them through the said activity.
Rise Up Caches

You can also obtain Core Strength gear pieces and their materials from the Rise Up Caches that you obtain from the Season Rewards.

Once you obtain a Rise Up Cache, open your Inventory. Head to the Caches menu and open the Rise Up Cache.

Based on the RNG, you will get a Core Strength gear piece along with materials.
How to get the Core Strength gear set blueprints

In The Division 2, you can get Core Strength gear set blueprints by completing the objectives of Journey VII for the Rise Up Season.
- Core Strength Mask Blueprint: Eliminate the enemies with Hostile modifiers without being affected by them 0/30.

- Blueprint Gym Backpack: Eliminate Black Tusk enemies while having at least 20 Offensive, Defense, and Utility stacks each (0/50)
