Restore Monorail and Deliver Special Alloy is the thirteenth main order, aka main quest, in Death Stranding 2 that introduces players to the monorail system.
For players who don’t know, Monorails are a means of transport that players can restore and use to deliver materials from Mines to storage.
As well as use it to transport yourself and your vehicle to any connected spot.
During the Restore Monorail and Deliver Special Alloy quest, there’s a point where players are asked to “Deliver Special Alloy [4800] to F1.”
While it sounds simple, there’s a high chance that new players might get stuck.
In the wake of that, I prepared this detailed walkthrough for the quest.
Restore Monorail and Deliver Special Alloy to F1 Main Order walkthrough
You can start the quest, “Restore the Monorail and Deliver Special Alloys [4800] to F1” via the Take Orders menu at the West Fort Knot F1 Terminal.
Make sure to collect the Special Alloys x720 and Resins x320 while you are starting the order.
You need them to restore the Monorail.
Head to Mine North of F1
Make your way to the Mine North of F1.
Once you arrive, head inside and interact with the Mining Terminal.
Submit the materials to restore the Mine and the Monorail.

Select the ‘Mine’ option and use Chiral Crystals to start the Special Alloys mining.
Use the Monorail to get back
Once the cutscene is complete, interact with the terminal and select the ‘Use Monorail’ option.
Drag the map and select the West Fort Knot F1 as the destination.
After choosing the destination, use the ‘Load Cargo’ option to deposit the mined Special Alloys into the Monorail Containers.
In this section, many players get stuck as they load and send the containers to F1, and nothing happens.
Well! That is because you must visit F1 and use the Deliver and Report option to progress and finish the quest.
Once you load all the Special Alloy, ‘Load Vehicle,’ and the ‘Get on Monorail’ options.
Doing so, you and your vehicle can head to West Fort Knot F1 along with the Special Alloy.
Once you arrive there, interact with the Delivery Terminal and select the option, ‘Deliver and Report.’
Any shipment you send from a Mine to any Settlement, the item gets added to your Private Locker.
Select and deposit the Special Alloys.
Doing so will complete the quest.

You can unlock the Pickup Off-Roader vehicle and the PINO-01 sunglasses by completing the Main Order 13 in Death Stranding 2.
You can fabricate the vehicle to use it for travel.
