Whether you are looking to find some Beakers for the Science of Love event or want to scrap them to obtain Glass, I’ve got you covered with my Fallout 76 Beakers locations and best farming spots guide.
Beakers are junk category items that you can find around Appalachia.
Most of the time, you won’t even need them as upon scrapping, you obtain Glass from them.
However, there are far more reliable means for obtaining Glass.
So, what you mainly need them for are the challenges, especially for the Science of Love event week 2 challenge.
And as a player, I can confirm that whenever there is a challenge based on a particular junk item, you will never find it.
No matter how many locations you search.
The funny part?
When you don’t need the item, you find it everywhere.
So, to make the search for Beakers slightly easier, I have prepared this detailed location guide. So keep reading!
Fallout 76 Beakers spawn locations
There are three types of Beakers that you can find in Fallout 76. These are:
- Thin Beaker (Drops 1 Glass upon scrapping)
- Large Beaker (Drops 2 Glass upon scrapping)
- Beaker (Drops 2 Glass upon scrapping)
For the Science of Love event, you can collect any as they all come under the Beaker category.

That being said, here are some of my favorite Beaker spawn locations:
ETA Psi House – Morgantown
The ETA PSI House in Morgantown holds around four Beakers which is more than enough for the Science of Love event.
First, teleport to the Fraternity Row building in Morgantown.
Once you spawn, look on the left side.
Follow the road as marked in the above screenshot.
You will find the ETA PSI House at the marked location.
The building has a blue door as you see in the above screenshot.
Go near it and press the interact button to enter.
Right when you spawn inside, look on the right side, you will find a wooden shelf on the wall.
Go near it and you will find a Large Beaker inside.
In the other room, you will find Beakers on the table.
You can find one more Beaker on the basin.
Bootlegger’s Shack
The Bootlegger’s Shack is one of the favorite Beaker spawn locations as it holds around five to seven Beakers.
Teleport there and make your way to the shack.
Enter the shack via the back door!
Take out the Scorched enemies using a melee weapon or a non-explosive weapon to ensure the Beakers are at their usual spot.
Once you take care of all the enemies, go to the ground floor and you will find all the Beakers on the shelf.
Two are found in the shelf shown in the above screenshot.
More are on the shelf left to it.
With more Beakers on the shelf behind the wooden boxes.
A few are also on the ground near the wooden boxes.
So make sure to collect them.
Pylon V-13
The Pylon V-13 is yet another great Beaker spawn location that offers four to five Beakers.
It is also close to the Bootlegger’s Shack.
Teleport to Pylon V-13 and use the stairs to climb up to the monorails.
Once you arrive at the entrance of the monorail, you will find Beakers on both sides.
If you go right, you will find a Beaker inside the yellow heater-like box.
You will find more Beakers next to the Microscope on the shelf.
If you take the left path instead, run to the end of the monorail and you will find a Beaker next to the First Aid box.
Huntersville
Huntersville! A great spawn location for Beakers, Mutant Hounds, Super Mutants, etc.
Teleport to Huntersville and take the path leading to its entrance.
Open the blue gate to enter the town.
Take out the Super Mutants and follow the path on the right side as shown in the above screenshot.
In the children’s playground, you will find a table with a terminal on top.
You can find a Beaker right next to it.
Once you collect it, run to the center of the town and take the blue door at the other end.
Right when you exit the town, you can spot a delipidated trailer.
Head inside and you will find a few Beakers on top of a barrel on the right side.
Best farming spots for Beakers in Fallout 76
In my opinion, the best farming spots for Beakers are the ETA PSI House, Bootlegger’s Shack, and the Pylon V-13.
As for completing the Science of Love event, you have more chance of finding Beakers at ETA PSI House and Huntersville as players often don’t search for Beakers at these spots.
There are more good Beaker spawn locations like the Westek Research Center, Fort Defiance, Vault Tech University, and others.
In fact, you can find Beakers even in the Atlantic City Expedition area.
But I don’t recommend these spots as they it requires to much work to reach the Beaker locations.
