Liberty Falls may be a small map in Black Ops 6 Zombies. However, it is full of various Easter Eggs and a long main quest with multiple steps.
Using the Strauss Counter is the fourth main step in the quest, as before that, you must find three components to build the Jet Gun Wonder Weapon.
Which is later used to find and collect three components required for building the LTG Device at a Workbench.
Once you are past that, the third step is to use the LTG Device at Aether Storm to summon an HVT.
And defeat it within an Aether Trap while having an Aether Canister nearby to trap its life source.
Once you have completed these three major steps, the fourth step is where you are given the Strauss Counter and tasked with finding the Projectors and solving a color-based puzzle.

I know most of you are here just for the Projector locations and puzzle solution, but for others, giving a slight background on the quest was necessary.
With that said, let’s check out how to use Strauss Counter in Black Ops 6 Zombies to locate Projectors and set the right color signals.

How to get Strauss Counter in Black Ops 6 Zombies
You can get the Strauss Counter from the SGD Generator once you finish the third step of the Liberty Falls main quest, which requires you to trap the first HVT’s life source in the Aether Canister.
Once you have done that, head back to the Church!
Near the SGD Generator, you will find the Strauss Counter ready to be picked up.
Go near it and press the interact button to pick it up. Once that is done, your Tactical is replaced by the Strauss Counter.
How to use the Strauss Counter in Black Ops 6 Zombies
The Strauss Counter is basically required to solve the color puzzle associated with the three Projectors found around Liberty Falls.
First of all, you can use the Strauss Counter by pressing the same button that you press to use Tactical items.
For instance, on PC, it is the ‘Q’ key.
Now, moving to the primary usage of the Strauss Counter. When near any Projector, check the color shown on the Strauss Counter.
Based on that, you must set a particular color to solve the puzzle.
To make things easier, here’s what you must do:
- The Red color appears in the Strauss Counter when you are near the Projector -> You must set the Projector light to Green.
- The Yellow color appears in the Strauss Counter when you are near the Projector -> You must set the Projector light to Yellow.
- The Green color appears in the Strauss Counter when you are near the Projector -> You must set the Projector light to Red.
Remember that every time you hop into a Zombies match, the Strauss Counter puzzle is different, so make sure to use the Strauss Counter to check the color near the Projector to align it with the right color.
All Liberty Falls Projectors locations in Black Ops 6 Zombies
There are three Projectors that you must find and activate in the game to complete the fourth step in the Liberty Falls main questline.
Here’s the location of all three:
Projector location 1
The first Projector is found near the Tool Shed, from where you obtain the Handbrake.
I have marked the exact location of the first Projector in the above map screenshot.
Head there, and you will find the Projector, as you can see in the above screenshot.
You can press the interact button to change the color on the Projector.
But before doing so, ensure to check the Strauss Counter to align the right color.
Projector location 2
The second Projector is found near the Liberty Falls Savings and Loans bank as marked in the above map screenshot.
It is on the edge of the roof of the building, where you can unlock a shortcut to the spawn area from within the Savings and Loan building in exchange for Essence.
To get there, first, use the zipline to get on the Liberty Falls Savings and Loans building roof.
Afterward, head towards the other end of the roof, and you will find a cardboard with a cross sign.
Go near it, and you will get prompted to unlock the locked door using Essence.
Do it and the cardboard will be gone, opening a path to the below roof with the second Projector.
Once again, use the Strauss Counter to check the color to align the proper color on the Projector.
Projector location 3
The third Projector is found in the grassy area near Liberty Lanes. I have marked its precise location on the above map screenshot.
Head there, interact with the Projector, and set the right color.
What happens after you have activated all three Projectors?
Once you activate all three Projectors with the right color order, three blue beams of light from the Projectors will fall on the second Aether Canister found at the spawn area near the Gas Station.
After that, you can collect the second Aether Canister to progress the quest and move to the next objective, requiring you to trap another HVT’s life force in the newly obtained Aether Canister.
