Whether you are looking for some Digested Goo from the Giant Pitcher Plants in Fallout 76 to complete challenges or want to know the best location and method to farm it without moving much, I’ve got you covered with this guide.
For players who don’t know, Digested Goo is a key ingredient that you need for making drugs like the Psycho and others, which you often need for challenges such as one from the Love Hurts mini-season.
You also need Digested Goo to craft high-end resources that you further need for crafting other items.
It is not only a useful resource, but it is also hard to come by, and most players don’t even know where to find it.
Seeing that and the fact that many new players are hopping into Fallout 76, I prepared this Digested Goo and Giant Pitcher Plant location and farming guide.
Digested Goo’s best spawn locations in Fallout 76
You can find Giant Pitcher Plants from which you can extract Digested Goo all across the Cranberry Bog region, located right below The Mire region.
Note
Before you start collecting the Digested Goo, please refer to the best farming method section.
Also, keep in mind, you get only around one second to collect the Digested Goo from the Giant Pitcher Plant.
If you miss the window, you won’t be able to harvest it before the reset. Server hop is the only option.
There are some other spawns too, but Cranberry Bog is the best spot to look for them.
Overgrown Sundew Grove
Outside of the Overgrown Sundew Grove POI, at the above player icon location, you will find a Giant Pitcher Plant from which you can extract Digested Goo.
There are a few plants inside the grove, too. However, I don’t recommend looking for them as there are better spots nearby that are less confusing.
So just grab the one outside and travel to the next spot.
Forward Station Delta
You can find three Giant Pitcher Plants close to one another at the Forward Station Delta. Teleport there.
As you can see in the above screenshots, they are around the POI and are easy to spot.
Note
There are around three Scorched Beasts in the area, along with other enemies. I recommend either running and collecting the Digested Goo or taking out the enemies first and then harvesting them.
I have marked the exact location of the plants in the above screenshot from a high POV for better reference.
Glassed Cavern
The Glassed Cavern is my favourite and one of the best, if not the best, farming spots for Digested Goo.
You can find 7+ Giant Pitcher Plants at the marked locations.
Between Drop Site V9 and Glassed Cavern
You can find one Giant Pitcher Plant at the above player icon location. Between the Drop Site and Glassed Cavern POIs.
Near the crashed Vertiberd
You can find more Giant Pitcher Plants near the crashed Vertibird, right past the Drop Site V9.
Fissure Site
There are three, plus a Giant Pitcher Plant that you can find at the Fissure Site.
Best farming spot and method for Digested Goo in Fallout 76
The best way to farm Digested Goo from the Giant Pitcher Plants is by equipping the Green Thumb Perk Card in the Perception Slot.
Doing so will increase the harvesting x2.
That said, as for the best farming spot for Digested Goo goes, as I mentioned earlier, the Glassed Cavern POI is the best one, with the second quick and easy spot being Forward Station Delta.
With the Green Thumb Perk Card equipped, you can obtain 14 Digested Goo from Glassed Cavern and 6 from Forward Station Delta.
You can keep server hopping to farm the same two spots for quick and easy Digested Goo farming.
