Fallout 76 Love Hurts mini season complete guide and walkthrough

Fallout 76’s Valentine’s month special limited-time mini season, “Love Hurts – Guide to a Raide’s Heart,” is now live in the game, along with Event Challenges and a ton of new lucrative rewards that players can earn for free.

There are 20 exclusive rewards that you can earn from this mini season, provided you have enough Tickets.

To get these Tickets, you must complete the challenges while wearing the Tough Love Helmet.

To make things easier for players, I prepared this complete guide and walkthrough for the Love Hurts mini-season. So here it is.

Here are all the Event challenges for the Love Hurts mini season:

1. Collect a Bag of Clorine while wearing the Tough Love Helmet (0/8) – Reward: 20 Tickets
2. Collect a Med-X while wearing the Tough Love Helmet (0/10) – Reward: 20 Tickets
3. Complete a Week 1 Challenge (0/6) – Reward: 60 Tickets
4. Complete a Weekly Completion Challenge (0/2) – Reward: 140 Tickets
5. Craft a Psycho while wearing the Tough Love Helmet (0/10) – Reward: 20 Tickets
6. Harvest a Toxic Soot Flower while wearing the Tough Love Helmet (0/25) – Reward: 20 Tickets
7. Scrap Junk to Produce Steel while wearing the Tough Love Helmet (0/50) – Rewards: 20 Tickets
8. Travel on Foot while wearing the Tough Love Helmet (0/15) – Reward: 20 Tickets

Fallout 76 Love Hurts mini season walkthrough

To get started with the mini season, first, you must claim the free Tough Love Helmet via the mini-season menu.

Head to Seasons.

Select Love Hurts.

Click and claim the Tough Love Helmet.

Once you have claimed it, head to any Armor Workbench and interact with it.

Select the ‘Headwear’ section.

After that, select the Tough Love Helmet from the list and craft it.

You need only one, which requires the following materials:

1. Glass x2
2. Steel x3

Once you have crafted the Tough Love Helmet, open your PipBoy and navigate to the Item > Apparel section.

There, you will find the newly crafted Tough Love Helmet. Equip it.

Once you have the Tough Love Helmet equipped, you can now start focusing on the Event challenges.

The first two that you should focus on completing are:

• Harvest a Toxic Soot Flower while wearing the Tough Love Helmet (0/25) – Reward: 20 Tickets
• Scrap Junk to Produce Steel while wearing the Tough Love Helmet (0/50) – Rewards: 20 Tickets

For the Toxic Soot Flower locations, check out the linked guide. As for the Scrap Junk to produce Steel, you can simply head to West Tek Research Center.

Farming Steel Scrap is a lot easier.

Once you arrive there, take out the Super Mutants and loot everything on their body.

Make your way inside the facility and use the Chemistry Bench to scrap the weapons and items you looted.

Doing so will complete the scrap Steel challenge while also progressing or completing the Travel on Foot challenge.

The next challenge that you must target is collecting 10 Med-X. [Check the linked guide.] Once you are done, collect some Digested Goo. [10 minimum.]

Assuming your previously collected Toxic Soot Flowers are still usable and not expired, you will have enough materials to craft and complete the Psycho challenge.

You can find it at Silva Homestead, Ash Cave, Aaronholt Homestead and other locations.

That’s it. If you have followed the guide so far, you must have completed all the Week 1 challenges for the Love Hurts mini season, and you should be able to claim all Page 1 rewards.
