Whether you are looking for Mega Sloth to take a picture and complete Fallout 76’s weekly challenge or want to hunt them down for some reason or you looking to pet them, whatever the reason is, I am here to help with my guide sharing some of the best Mega Sloth spawns in Fallout 76.

Mega Sloths are one of the many creatures that you can find around Appalachia.

And similar to other creatures in the game, the Mega Sloths are associated with weekly and sometimes, daily challenges and some special events.

But that is not it.

You can also tame Mega Sloth to make it your pet.

You can hunt them down for farming key resources and other reasons!

However, most of the time, it is always the weekly challenges that make players look for Mega Sloth spawn locations.

In the wake of that, and as a player myself, I decided to prepare this detailed guide sharing the best Mega Sloth spawn locations in Fallout 76.

Best locations where you can find Mega Sloth in Fallout 76

In Fallout 76, the best Mega Sloth spawn locations are the Treetops, Tanagra Town, and Dark Hollow Manor.

There are other locations like Creedside Sundrew Cove, the crater south of Huntersville, across the river near Watoga Shopping Plaza, etc.

However, in my experience, the Treetops, Tanagra Town, and Dark Hollow Manor have the most consistent Mega Sloth spawns.

Treetops

Treetops aside, The Mire region itself is a good location to find Mega Sloths.

That said, teleport to the Treetops POI and make your way towards the tree house.

You will find a variant of the Mega Sloth roaming around the base of the tree house.

It usually circles around the base of the Treetops tree house and is hard to miss.

Tanagra Town

Tanagra Town is yet another great spot for finding Mega Sloths in Fallout 76.

Teleport to the POI and make your way around the base of the Tanagra Town as marked in the above screenshot.

The Mega Sloth is usually on the left side of the spawn location.

However, since it moves around, make sure to check the base of Tanagra Town thoroughly.

Dark Hollow Manor

Dark Hollow Manor is yet another great location where you can find a 100% Mega Sloth spawn.

Head to the marked location and to the southeast part of the manor.

To be exact, head to the yellow encircled area in the above map screenshot and you will find the Mega Sloth hanging on a tree.

Fallout 76 other Mega Sloth spawn locations

Here are some other Mega Sloth spawns in Fallout 76 that are worth checking out:

The crater south of Huntersville

South of Southern Belly Motel

You can find a Mega Sloth hanging on a tree south of the Southern Belle Motel.

How to take a Camera Picture of a Mega Sloth in Fallout 76

To complete the challenge, “Take a Camera Picture of a Mega Sloth,” all you have to do is head to any of the Mega Sloth spawn locations and use the ProSnap Deluxe Camera to take a picture of the Mega Sloth.

Using Photo Mode doesn’t counts towards the challenge.

So make sure to use the ProSnap Deluxe Camera.

That concludes my guide on Fallout 76 best Mega Sloth spawn locations. If the article helped, please consider buying me a Coffee to help me create more content. You can also share the guide with your friends or leave a comment.
