Looking for Toxic Soot Flowers for the Love Hurts mini-season challenge? Or want to farm it to craft a ton of Psycho or for other items and challenges in Fallout 76? Whatever the reason, I’ve got you covered with this guide.
Toxic Soot Flower is a nuanced version of the Soot Flower that you find all around Appalachia.
This one is specific to a certain region and is mostly used for either completing challenges or crafting a Psycho consumable item.
Without proper knowledge of their spawn location, you will find it very hard to obtain them. And that is why I prepared this guide.
Where to find Toxic Soot Flowers in Fallout 76

You can find Toxic Soot Flower all around the Toxic Valley sub-region, located above The Forest and the Savage Divide regions, within the marked area.

I recommend teleporting to The Crater POI. Once you spawn there, head towards the west.

You will start encountering the Toxic Soot Flower.

At the above player icon location, you will find a couple of Toxic Soot Flowers.

A little southwest to that, you will find more.

West of that, you will find around four plus Toxic Soot Flowers.

And, to keep heading towards the west + southwest, you will encounter more and more Toxic Soot Flowers.
But how to efficiently farm them?
Best way to farm Toxic Soot Flowers in Fallout 76

The best way to farm the Toxic Soot Flowers in Fallout 76 is by first equipping the Green Thumb Perk Card in your Perception section.
What it does is double the harvested item. For example, if you harvest one Toxic Soot Flower, you get two.

The next thing that I personally highly recommend for efficiently farming the Toxic Soot Flowers is that you visit the area near The Crater that I shared above during the evening or later.
Why is that? Because, during this time, the Toxic Soot Flowers glow white and are very, very easy to spot.

As you can see in the above screenshot, I jumped and saw more than four Toxic Soot Flowers in that particular instance.

The above screenshot shares another example.
That said, if you are someone who is still struggling, here’s a video guide by me:
That sums up my location and farming guide for Toxic Soot Flower in Fallout 76. If the guide helped, please share it on socials and with your friends.
