Whether you are looking for the Bard’s Guitar’s location in Roblox The Forge or want to know where to use the Unknown Key that you obtain from him, I’ve got you covered with this guide.
In the starting area in The Forge, you will come across an NPC named Bard. Yes! Just Bard.
You can find him near the campfire next to the Potions shop. When you talk to him, he will give you a quest called “Lost Guitar.”
The objective of the quest is simple: “Bring the Guitar.”
However, the game offers no quest marker or hints leading to the Bard’s Guitar’s location.
Seeing that, I prepared this walkthrough for the Lost Guitar quest to help players out.
Where to find the Guitar in The Forge
You can find the Guitar inside the ‘Secret Cave’ within the Cave at the Stonewalker’s Cross starting area.
Once you have taken the quest, head to The Cave.
From the entrance, take the path on the left side.
Right after you take the path on the left, keep looking on the left side, and you will find plants in the corner.

Jump on the grass floor.
You will find yourself in the Secret Cave.
On the right side of the Skeleton NPC, you will find the Guitar. Collect it.
Return to the Bard and give him the Guitar to complete the quest.
Completing the Lost Guitar quest rewards you with:
- XP
- Unknown Key
- Cash
Where to use the Unknown Key in The Forge
The Unknown Key unlocks the locked door found within The Cave.
Head to the entrance, and this time around, instead of left, follow the path on the right side.
Stick to the right side, and you will eventually arrive at the above location with the big cage.
Interact with the lock to use the Unknown Key.
Follow the path, and it will lead you to the Arcane Pickaxe.
