The Monocle is one of the three items required to obtain the Staff of Ice in The Tomb map.
For players who don’t know, the Staff of Ice is a returning Wonder Weapon in Black Ops 6.
You can obtain and use it to make your experience on the new map much easier.
On the other hand, you also need the Staff of Ice to progress in the Tomb map’s main story quest.
So, with that being out of the way, here’s my guide on how to get the Monocle and where to use it in The Tomb.
How to get the Monocle
In Black Ops 6 Zombies The Tomb map, you can obtain the Monocle quest item by defeating the Shock Mimic.
Once you do that, the Shock Mimic will drop the Monocle you can collect by pressing the interact button.

You can spawn the Shock Mimic in The Tomb map by reaching round 8.
As you can see in the above screenshot, as soon as I reached the said round, the Shock Mimic spawned alongside regular zombies.
How to use the Monocle in The Tomb map
In Black Ops 6 Zombies The Tomb map, you can use the Monocle at the altar found at the center of the Dark Aether Nexus.
But before you can actually use it, you must also obtain the Staff and Staff Head.
Once you have all three key items, head to the Dark Aether Nexus.
Make your way to the altar that you see in the above screenshot.
After you reach there, go near and press the interact button.
Now, you must protect the Staff of Ice until it is fully ready to use.
