After you complete the Ashoro Springs main mission in the Echoes of Sekigahara DLC, you are tasked with finding Snake’s hidden Estate to learn more about the Gold.
To get a lead, you are supposed to interrogate a Snake Contender. You are hinted to talk to Kojiro at Ashoro Springs.
When you talk to him, he will tell you about the fight between Lady Kitami and her bounty, and Kyuta the Frugal, one of the key Snake Contenders.

How to start Lady Kitami’s bounty
In Ghost of Yotei, to unlock and take Lady Kitami’s bounty, you must complete the Ashoro Springs main quest.
After that, you must head to the Bounty Board and talk to Kojiro.
Note: If the bounty is available, complete the bounties for Umakichi The Bear Slayer and Bunzaemon The Butcher.
Talk to Kojiro at the Ashoro Springs Bounty Board.
He will tell you about Lady Kitami and Kyuta the Frugal. After that, you will get the Lady Kitami bounty.
Lady Kitami’s bounty rewards
Completing Lady Kitami’s bounty unlocks Lady Kitami’s Helmet.

Ashoro Foothills Lady Kitami’s location and bounty walkthrough
In Ashoro Foothills, you can find Lady Kitami’s camp at the marked location above in the southeast part of Akan Woodlands.
Head there, and you will find a few Ronin pinned down by Lady Kitami and her associates.
Talk to the Ronin. Accept or Refuse the Job. It shouldn’t matter.
After that, stick to the right side and follow the path.
Squeak through the rocks to reach Lady Kitami’s camp.
A cutscene plays out where you explain to Lady Kitami that you are not here for her bounty and whatnot. After the cutscene ends, talk to two of her associates around the camp.
The first associate is right in front of you when the cutscene ends.
The other one is near the tower. After you finish the strategy, Kyuta’s men attack the camp. Lead the charge.
Defeat the enemies as you head toward the entrance. After you are done, Kyuta and his men arrive. Defeat them.
Kyuta will tell you about Ichizo the Toad and where to find him. This is the intel you need for the next main mission.
After that, Lady Kitami heads back to Ashoro Springs to protect the Settlers from Vipers. And you unlock the next main mission, Another Man’s Treasure.
