If you are struggling to repair your armor in The Way of Winter or have a new item called Leftovers that you don’t know what to do, my guide on how to get and use Leftovers in Once Human will be handy.
Leftovers are nothing but leather scraps added to the game with The Way of Winter, and they may be exclusive to the Scenario.
That said, along with the new temperature meter and the new surviving hot and cold weather system, Leftovers play a crucial role in managing your armor pieces’ durability.
I don’t know if it’s just me or if the enemies in The Way of Winter are more aggressive.
Even in the Normal phase, maintaining the durability of your armor means improving your survivability until you get the message, “Your body temperature is falling,” and you die and spawn miles away because you forgot to set up a camp.
With that said, let us check out how you can get and use these new Leftovers in Once Human The Way of Winter.
How to get Leftovers in Once Human

In Once Human, there are two methods for getting the Leftovers. The first one involves scrapping your unused armor pieces at the Disassembly Bench.

The other method, and the most consistently reliable one, is by crafting Leftovers at the Supplies Workbench.

To do that, you must first open your Memetics screen by pressing the ‘O’ key and selecting the ‘Memetics’ option.
After that, you must navigate to the ‘Crafting’ tab and unlock the ‘Leatherworking’ skill, which you can find in the first grid.

Doing so will unlock the ability to craft Leftovers at the Supplies Workbench using the various hides you can obtain from skinning animals.
You will get different outputs depending on what animal hide you are using to craft Leftovers. For example:
- Rawhide results in two Leftovers.
- Wolf Skin results in three Leftovers.
- Crocodile and Cow Hide gives you four Leftovers per hide.
How to use Leftovers in Once Human

You can use the obtained Leftovers to repair your damaged armor pieces in Once Human The Way of Winter.
