If you are struggling to get your hands on Dragonscale Vase to trade with Sekka, my guide on Monster Hunter Wilds Dragonscale Vase locations and farming spots will come in handy.
The Dragonscale Vase is a Rarity 5 item in Monster Hunter Wilds that you can use to trade ingredients.
That said, similar to many other items in the game, there are not many details available on how exactly you can get the Dragonscale Vase.
And since you need it to get an attack-boosting ingredient, it’s something you can’t miss out on.
Thankfully, I know how to get the Dragonscale Vase, and in this guide, I have explained everything you need to know about it.
So, keep reading!
How to get Dragonscale Vase in Monster Hunter Wilds

You can get the Dragonscale Vase from Ancient Relic deposits found in the Iceshard Cliffs region.

The Ancient Relics are found on the second level of the Iceshard Cliffs.
And they have a question mark on top of an item bag icon, as you can see in the above screenshot.

When you search an Ancient Relic Deposit, there’s a high chance you will get a Wyvernscale Vase.

As you can see in the above screenshot, when I searched an Ancient Relic, I got the Wyvernscale Vase.
That is because the Dragonscale Vase is a very rare drop in Monster Hunter Wilds.

So if you have a good RNG, you will get Dragonscale Vase from the Ancient Relic as you can see in the above screenshot.
Monster Hunter Wilds Dragonscale Vase locations

There are seven Ancient Relic spots that have the potential to drop Dragonscale Vase in the game.
I have marked their locations in the above map screenshot to make things easier for you.
Best Dragonscale Vase farming spot in Monster Hunter Wilds

The best farming spot for Dragonscale Relic in Monster Hunter Wilds is the Iceshard Cliffs Area 20 “Ancient Room.”
You can set up a Pop-up Camp there.
That said, the location holds three Ancient Relic deposits close to one another.
Apart from that, the other Ancient Relic deposits are also close to the location and can easily be farmed.
Here’s a video guide where I showcase how you can get farm Dragonscale Vase easily:
Best season and time to farm Dragonscale Vase

During my playthrough, I found the Season of Plenty and Nighttime best for farming Dragonscale Vase.

Keep in mind, I have found Dragonscale Vase even during daytime in Season of Plenty.
My RNG was better during the Nighttime with the Season being Plenty.
This can be a coincidence!
But its worth trying out.
Where to use Dragonscale Vase in Monster Hunter Wilds

You can use the Dragonscale Vase to trade with the NPC vendor Sekka to obtain Fluffy Eggs.
The Fluffy Egg is a very good additional ingredient in Monster Hunter Wilds that you can use to get an attack buff.
When you add Fluffy Egg to any food while cooking, you get the following effect:
Caprice Meal (Lo)
“Repeatedly activates a temporary attack boost at random intervals.”
Note
Based on the Season, Sekka’s inventory changes.
If you want to trade with Dragonscale Vase, make sure the Season is either Plenty or Fallow.
Sekka

You can find Sekka roaming around in the Suja village.
[It is an end game area in case you are a new player.]

Once you find Sekka, go and talk to her.

Select the dialogue option “Let’s trade” to open the Item Trade menu.

There, you can use the obtained Dragonscale Vase to trade for Fluffy Egg.
- 1 Dragonscale Vase goes for 2 Fluffy Eggs.

Confirm the trade to get the item.
Nata

If you have already completed the game’s main story, you can also access Sekka’s inventory through Nata.

Talk to him and select the dialogue option “Any word from the people?”

Doing so will open the traders’ list.
Select ‘Sekka’ from it.

Now trade the Dragonscale Vase for the Fluffy Egg.
