Insatiable Hunger is one of the first side missions in Nioh 3 that you will encounter after arriving in the Hamamatsu Region, following the game’s prologue.

The quest rewards you with Ninja Locks, along with other lucrative rewards like Charms that come in handy in the early game.

It also leads to an optional boss fight along with a ton of items to collect enroute.

That said, as simple as the quest objectives are, there are some sections where players may get stuck.

In the wake of that, I prepared this detailed walkthrough explaining how you can get and complete the Insatiable Hunger side quest in Nioh 3.

Insatiable Hunger quest walkthrough

In Nioh 3, you can start the Insatiable Hunger side quest at the above player icon location.

Once you arrive there, you will find the spirit of a dead person. Talk to him and exhaust his dialogues.

Doing so will trigger the quest.

The first objective of the quest is to “Head to the Ferry.”

It is marked on the map as you can see in the above map screenshot that I shared.

Head there, and you will find yourself in a Yokai Encampment.

Take out all the Yokai to clear the encampment and progress your regional exploration and the side quest.

Once done, you will get a new objective to “Retrace Taro’s steps.”

Head to the area between the two houses by crouching through the big boxes as marked in the above screenshot.

You will find Taro’s mother’s body.

Collect the item to progress the quest.

After that, stick to the right side of the village while facing towards the exit and follow the straight path.

It will lead you to the Gaki Chief boss.

Take out the boss to avenge Taro, who was eaten by the Gaki Chief.

Talk to the spawned spirit, aka Taro’s father.

And that is it. That will end the quest.
