Whether you are unable to find the Mystical Crate or the Weapon and Gear Crates or are looking to get everything the Hiverail Restricted Area Rosetta stronghold has to offer in the game, my Once Human Hiverail Restricted Area Mystical Crate location and settlement walkthrough guide covers it all.

The Hiverail Restricted Area is a gargantuan Rosetta Stronghold located at the apex of the snowy mountain southeast of the Vena Fjord region in northern Nalcott.

Unlike most Rosetta Strongholds, where you find a similar layout, making the task of completing the associated settlement exploration quest a lot easier, the Hiverail Restricted Area is a lot different.

It is a multilayered location with a lot of verticality, and finding the Mystical, Weapon, and Gear crates is challenging, as is surviving the harsh cold weather.

So, whether you arrived at the Hiverail Restricted Area while doing the main quest or are exploring it to complete the settlement quest, keep reading my guide.

It covers everything the Hiverail Restricted Area has to offer!

Once Human Hiverail Restricted Area settlement walkthrough

The Hiverail Restricted Area settlement quest objectives are similar to other POI settlement quests, which are:

  1. Defeat normal enemies (0/12)
  2. Look for Mystical Crate (0/1)
  3. Find Weapon and Armor Crates (0/2)
  4. Activate Rift Anchors (0/1)

But that is just for completing the settlement exploration quest. The area holds a lot more importance as there you can also get:

  • Extra Weapon and Gear Crates that you can farm as they spawn
  • A ton of high-level resources and scrap materials
  • A Scenic Viewpoint for 200 Starchrom
  • A Hidden Mystical Crate
  • Fetch-A-Lot Bunny spawn area

The above are just a few other key things you can find at the Hiverail Restricted Area.

That said, as I always say, completing the first objective of defeating normal enemies is easy peasy. So, I will skip it.

For the rest, keep reading!

Once Human Hiverail Restricted Area Weapon Crate locations

There are two Weapon Crates that I found in the Hiverail Restricted Area in Once Human. I have shared the location of both below:

Weapon Crate 1 location

The first Weapon Crate is located at the coordinates 1395, 4376.

Once Human Hiverail Restricted Area Rift Weapon Crate 1

You can find it near Rosetta containers inside a shed next to the Rift Anchor.

Weapon Crate 2 location

The second Weapon Crate is located at the coordinates 1193, 4586.

You can find it outside a room in the western part of the facility near the rail roads.

Once Human Hiverail Restricted Area Gear Crate locations

Similar to the Weapon Crates, there are two Gear Crates within the Hiverail Restricted Area in Once Human.

Gear Crate 1 location

The first Gear Crate at the Hiverail Restricted Area is found at the coordinates 1392, 4537.

To reach there, once you arrive at the center of the facility, take the elevator as shown in the above screenshot.

Now, head down the stairs to reach the area where Rosetta members are researching the Chaosweaver and other machine type Deviants.

On the right side, you will find a gate leading to the room with the Gear Crate.

Head inside and at the other end of the room, you will find the first Gear Crate.

Gear Crate 2 location

The second Gear Crate at the Hiverail Restricted Area is located at the coordinates 1314, 4316.

To reach there, you must head inside the main facility and use the Updraft tools as shown in the above screenshot to climb up the hive like structure.

Keep an eye on the spine-like spiral path as the second Gear Crate is on it, as you can see in the screenshot above.

Once Human Hiverail Restricted Area Scenic Viewpoint location

The Scenic Viewpoint is located at the coordinates 1205, 4364.

You can find it near the lift on the right side when you enter the facility’s interior.

Once Human Hiverail Restricted Area Fetch-A-Lot Bunny Deviant location

The entire Hiverail Restricted Area has a ton of boxes that you can search to spawn the Fetch-A-Lot Bunny Deviant.

To be honest, the spawn rate was so high for me that I don’t think you will have a hard time finding and collecting one.

Fetch-A-Lot Bunny spawn location 1

The first frequent spawn is on the right side of the Hiverail Restricted Area main gate closest from the Teleportation Tower.

Fetch-A-Lot Bunny spawn location 2

The second Fetch-A-Lot Bunny spawn is on the left end of the facility.

Fetch-A-Lot Bunny spawn location 3

The third spawn is in the hall, and you can reach it by entering the gate, as shown in the screenshot above.

Right past the security checkpoint, the entire hall contains containers that spawn Fetch-A-Lot Bunny.

Once Human Hiverail Restricted Area Rift Anchor location

The Rift Anchor at the Hiverail Restricted Area is found at the coordinates 1363, 4382.

The path that you took for the third Fetch-A-Lot Bunny spawn. Keep moving forward, and once you arrive at the facility’s interior, head towards the left side, and you will find the Rift Anchor.

Once Human Hiverail Restricted Area secret Mystical Crate location

The secret Mystical Crate is hidden behind the usual blue glimmer puzzle that you can find at the coordinates 1375, 4710.

Look on top of the car, touch the blue glimmer and follow its path.

At the nearby shed’s roof, it will spawn the secret Mystical Crate.

Once Human Hiverail Restricted Area Mystical Crate location

The main Mystical Crate at the Hiverail Restricted Area is found at the coordinates 1355, 4267.

Follow the exact path you took for the second Gear Crate. Using the Updraft devices and platforming, keep climbing toward the top.

You will eventually arrive at the top, where the Mystical Crate is. As for what is inside it, it holds the Blueprint Fragment for the Frost Tactical Vest.
