If you are trying to complete The Great Outdoors quest in WoW: Forever but can’t sit near the campfire, here’s a fix to help you progress and finish the quest.
For players who don’t know, early on in the game, you meet an NPC named Raan who teaches you the basics of camping and the buff that you obtain from it through a short and simple quest called The Great Outdoors.
The first objective in the quest is to sit near a campfire.
While it is simple, it is bugged for many players, stopping them to progress. And if you are one such player, keep reading!
How to fix unable to sit near campfire in WoW: Forever
The sit near a campfire when you game is bugged, type ‘/sit’ in the chat and you will be able to sit and progress the quest objective.
If pressing the X key is not working, keep spamming the /sit command until it works. It has worked for many players, and it should work for you too.
Once you are able to sit, wait until you get the Boosted Rest buff to complete the quest.
