On January 2, 2025, with the version 2.0 ‘All Silent Souls Can Sing’ update’s release, we finally got developer Kuro Games hit title Wuthering Waves on the PS5.
Following the footsteps of other modern multi-platform games, Wuthering Waves launched on PS5 with full cross-progression and crossplay support.
Granted, players link their PSN account with the Kuro Games account, which holds their character saved.
But things were not as easy as they seemed!
Players who installed the game on PS5 noticed they were getting assigned servers based on the region of their PSN ID.
Because of this, there were many discrepancies.
A considerable number of players, even after linking their Kuro Games account, could not select the correct server on the PS5 to play with their existing save.
While there is a workaround to make cross-progression work properly in Wuthering Waves on PS5, which I have discussed in my guide on how to change servers on PS5.
Before some players can implement it, they must first unlink their PSN and Kuro Games accounts.
But since there is no dedicated option for it, many players are stuck as they don’t know how to unlink their Kuro Games account and PSN ID for Wuthering Waves.
How do you unlink your PSN ID and Kuro Games account?
The only way to unlink your PSN ID and Kuro Games account is to contact customer service.
Yes! Unlike Activision and other accounts, you can link and unlink with PSN anytime;
The Kuro Games account can only be unlinked from the dev’s end.
At least, that is the case for now!
This may change in the future as Kuro Games is a great dev team that often likes to resolve issues and implement QoL changes as soon as possible.
But, until then, to unlink your account with PlayStation Network, you must contact the Kuro Games Customer Support team.

Now, how to do that?
There are two ways to contact the customer support team:
- Via Email (wutheringwaves_ensupport@kurogame.com)
- Through the in-game Feedback option
For the second method, open your Terminal.
After that, press the R1 button to navigate to the second page.
There, select the ‘Feedback’ option.
Scan the QR code or choose the option to ‘Submit a support ticket.’
Enter the information in the required fields.
Remember to clearly mention that you want to unlink your PSN and Kuro Games account.
Finally, click on the ‘Submit’ button.

Keep this in mind!
No matter which option you opt for, the customer support team has to deal with a high flow of tickets.
It may take weeks before they give you a reply and process your request.
