How to use Vault Cards in Borderlands 4

If you don’t know how to activate and use Vault Cards in Borderlands 4 or want to know how to level them up and claim the free Legendary weapons and cosmetic rewards, I’ve got you covered with this guide.

For players who don’t know, Vault Cards are basically non-expiring themed Battle Passes, sort of, featuring four rerollable gear and multiple cosmetic items.

While activating and using them is a simple task, there are some new players who struggle to use them.

And so, in the wake of that, I prepared this beginner-friendly guide to Vault Cards in Borderlands 4.

How to use Vault Cards in Borderlands 4

To use Vault Cards, you must first activate them. To do that, open your ‘Inventory’ and head to the ‘Vault Cards’ tab.

After that, depending on the time when you are reading this guide, there will be two or more Vault Cards to choose from.

Use the navigation as I have highlighted in the above screenshot to select the Vault Card that you want to activate.

After that, press and hold the ‘Y’ key on your keyboard or the respective controller button to activate it.

How to claim rewards from Vault Cards in Borderlands 4

Once you have activated a Vault Card, to claim rewards from it, you need Vault Card Tickets.

As you can see in the Vault Card menu, each cosmetic and gear has a Vault Card Ticket cost attached to it.

Once you have enough Vault Card Tickets, you can select the item that you want to claim and press and hold the ‘F’ key to purchase it.

How to get Vault Card Tickets in Borderlands 4

You can get Vault Card Tickets by:

1. Completing daily and weekly Vault Card challenges.
2. Levelling Up your Vault Card by farming normal XP.
