The new map, Providence Island, added with FL4K and the Last Resort Story Pack in Borderlands 4, has a lot of secrets, one of which is a continuation of a side quest that only unlocks once you find 10 escaped Tediore weapons in the open world.
Completing this quest unlocks a really cool dynamic Style called Unbroken and the Corporate Reclamation achievement.
Unlike the Substation Switch collectibles, it doesn’t unlock a hidden boss like Vulkorr, but it’s still something you shouldn’t miss.
That said, here’s my complete guide with the locations of all 10 escaped Tediore weapons, plus a walkthrough for the hidden quest The Second Relieving of the Guard.
All 10 escaped Tediore weapon locations on Providence Island
Below you can find the location of all 10 escaped Tediore guns:
Escaped Tediore weapon #1
The first escaped Tediore gun is at the location marked above.
Head there, defeat the enemies, and follow the marked path to reach the upper area.
At the edge, you will find the escaped Tediore gun.
Collect it.
Escaped Tediore weapon #2
The second escaped Tediore gun is at the above-marked location in the Pyroclast Field region.
You can find it on top of a big boulder. Climb up and collect it.
Escaped Tediore weapon #3
The third escaped Tediore gun is at the location marked above.
It is on the big outer wall as marked in the screenshot above.
Climb up, go close, and collect it.
Escaped Tediore weapon #4
The fourth escaped Tediore gun is at the location marked above.
Head there and make your way to the Luxurious Libations bar.
Go to the marked area.
Collect the gun.
Escaped Tediore weapon #5
The fifth escaped Tediore gun is at the location above.
Head inside and make your way towards the marked area.
Take the zipline to the top. Now look down. In between, you will find the escaped Tediore gun.
Glide to it and collect it.
Escaped Tediore weapon #6
The sixth escaped Tediore gun is at the location marked above.
This one is also on a big boulder that you can easily climb.
Collect it.
Escaped Tediore weapon #7
The seventh escaped Tediore gun is at the location marked above.
For this one, you must use the dash lifts or whatever you call them.
Follow the marked path.
Head to the tower with the escaped Tediore gun.
Collect it.
Escaped Tediore weapon #8
The eighth escaped Tediore gun is at the location above.
Head there and collect it.
Escaped Tediore weapon #9
The ninth escaped Tediore gun is at the above-marked location in the Bagheera Range region.
This one is also on a big rocky platform.
Go around. Use the grapple point to reach the top. Collect it.
Escaped Tediore weapon #10
The tenth and final escaped Tediore gun is within the Akela Island Occupied Sector. Make your way to it.
Collect it.
The Second Relieving of the Guard quest walkthrough
To unlock The Second Relieving of the Guard hidden quest in Borderlands 4, you must:
- Complete The Relieving of the Guard side quest
- Find all 10 escaped Tediore guns
Once you do that, the quest will appear at the same location where you took the first one, The Relieving of the Guard.
Head there and talk to Hatch to start the quest.
Place the guns in the Portable Toilet and close the door.
Collect the Warning Sign.
Place it on the door.
Doing so will complete the hidden quest.
Unlocking Unbroken Style in Borderlands 4
As I mentioned earlier, you can unlock the dynamic Style, Unbroken, upon completing The Second Relieving of the Guard quest.
Assuming you already did that, head to your inventory and check the Rewards section. Claim The Second Relieving of the Guard quest reward.
Now, head to Customization > Style and equip the Unbroken Style.
