The creators of hit franchises like Uncharted, The Last of Us, and many others—and Sony’s golden goose when it comes to delivering narrative hits and critically and commercially successful titles, Naughty Dog’s fan account teased a major reveal coming on August 28, 2024.
One of the fan accounts that goes by the name Naughty Dog World on X (formerly Twitter) shared a 10-second teaser with the text “Incoming Announcement—28/08/24″ and an electric wave background—”Infamous?” and the official Naughty Dog logo.
Over the years, Naughty Dog has been heavily invested in helping out Sony’s new studios, developing new IP, developing a live service version of The Last of Us Part II—which Sony recently scrapped—and a few other things.
A few job listings also hinted Sony’s new internal development team co-developing a game with Naughty Dog based on a “a beloved franchise.” On the other hand, the many Interviews of Neil Druckman—the big guy at Naughty Dog and a Studio Head, Head of Creative Naughty Dog, Executive Producer, and a Writer, suggested Naughty Dog is working on a brand new IP.
