Well! There’s a good reason for it.

Where to find the Site Office Key in Atomfall
You can find the Site Office Key on a construction worker’s dead body found within The Interchange’s construction site located right in front of the Site Office.
However, reaching the Site Office Key’s location may take a lot of effort and time based on your current progression within The Interchange.
But, to make this guide useful for even new players who are just getting started, I have explained how you can reach the Site Office Key’s location.
How to reach the construction area in Atomfall
You can reach the construction site through The Interchange Exit tunnel found within the Lower Level of the Robotics area.
If you haven’t unlocked the Robotics area or the Robotics Lower Level, I have linked a detailed guide on it.
Check it out and return to this section once you have reached the Robotics Lower Level.
Assuming you are in Robotics Lower Level, on the top right side of the main yellow shutter, you will find a circuit.
You can use the Signal Redirector to redirect the power and unlock the main Lower Level shutter and the one on the right side, leading to the Interchange Exit.
Now, head to the room on the right side and redirect the power from the circuit located next to the turret.
Doing so will disable the turret.
Now, follow the tunnel on the right side as I have marked on the above screenshot.
Use the Interchange Exit.
That’s it. You will find yourself at the Interchange construction site.
Follow the straight path and be wary of the Ferals hibernating in the blue plants and fungus.
When you go close, they will start attacking.
Use whatever means you have to take out the three Ferals.
Now, you will find two barred doors. I recommend unlocking them as they unlock shortcut to the Interchange’s central area.
In the middle of the construction site, you will find the dead body with the Site Office Key.
How to unlock the locked door in The Interchange construction site in Atomfall
You can unlock the construction site door found in front of the Site Office through the opposite side.
From the dead body where you found the Site Office Key, follow the path on the left side.
You will arrive at the other side of the locked door.
Now, use the Lock Release terminal to unlock the door.
Keep in mind, as soon as you unlock the construction site door from the other side, it will trigger an automatic event where you will be attacked by around seven to ten Outlaws.
Where to use the Site Office Key in Atomfall
Most of you might already know the Site Office location as you are reading a guide about finding the Site Office Key.
Still, for the sake of the guide, the Site Office is located at the player icon location, as highlighted in the above screenshot within the Interchange.
Unlock the Site Office using the Site Office Key that you obtained earlier.
On the board, you will find a lore document, “A Sea Change At Seascale.”
The document talks about the Windscale Plant and the Windscale Opposition Society.
On the table, you will find Case. Within it, you will find Training Stimulant and other items.
