Dave the Burrito is a giant burrito in Borderlands 4, associated with a trophy called Guac is Extra.
It is located within a hidden room in the Upper Dominion area, along with a ton of weapon chests, that you can access only when you find and destroy 15 burritos found all around the Dominion City.
Each of the 15 burritos required for this achievement and the room with Dave the Burrito is well hidden and almost impossible to find unless you know where to look for them.
And no, these don’t appear on your in-game map.
That said, since we have many completionists who like to unlock every trophy and achievement, especially PlayStation players, as you need it for the Platinum, I prepared this detailed guide sharing the location of all 15 burritos and the area where you find Dave the Burrito.
Borderlands 4 Dave the Burrito and Guac is Extra trophy pre-requisites
Since all 15 of the burritos required for accessing the room with Dave the Burrito are found within Dominion, make sure you have progressed the main story until the main quest, “The Timekeeper’s Order.”
Here’s a breakdown of why you need to progress the main story until the above point:
- The Falling Wall – For accessing Dominion
- Means of Ascent – For accessing the Fades District that holds 5 of the burritos
- The Timekeeper’s Order – For accessing Upper Dominion, where you find Dave the Burrito
Assuming you have progressed through the game until “The Timekeeper’s Order” or have already finished the game, here’s the location of each burrito.
All 15 burrito locations in Borderlands 4
Each of the three districts within Dominion has five burritos that you can find and destroy. You can find them at:
Burrito #1
You can find the first burrito in the Carcadia District at the above marked location.
Head there and you will find the above marked shaft that you can climb.
Climb up the wall and use the grapple point at the top to reach the upper part of the area.
Follow the path and you will arrive in the above room. The burrito is located behind the last bench on the right side.
Head there and shoot it.
Burrito #2
The second Carcadia District burrito is located at the above location near the Mossmellow Retreat.
Head there and look for the house with graffiti. The same one that you see in the above screenshot.
The burrito is on the extra wooden part, as you can see in the above screenshot. Climb up the sunshade and you will be able to reach it.
Burrito #3
The third burrito in the Carcadia District is in the lower part of the area on the Kratch Nest at the above marked location.
Head there and climb up the Kratch Nest marked in the above screenshot.
Shoot the burrito.
Burrito #4
The fourth burrito in the Carcadia District is found relatively close to the third one at the above marked location on a box in a balcony.
The burrito is behind the box where the arrow is pointing in the above screenshot.
Head to the balcony. Glide your way behind the box.
You will find the burrito in the corner. Shoot it.
Burrito #5
The fifth burrito in the Carcadia District is at the above marked location.
It is in the upper part of the area behind a stall where the two NPCs as marked in the above screenshot.
Head there and you will find it. Shoot it.
Burrito #6
The first burrito in the Terminus District is at the above marked location near the Safe House.
Head there and make your way towards the Whimsy Willies cafe.
The burrito is behind the counter on the right side.
Shoot it.
Burrito #7
The second burrito in the Terminus District is at the above marked location close to the first one.
Head there and make your way inside the Augur room with blue lights.
On the right side, above the toilet, you will find the burrito.
Burrito #8
The third burrito in the Terminus District is at the above marked location at the Get The Funk Out washing centre.
Head there and make your way towards the first washing machine. You will find the burrito on the left side.
Burrito #9
The fourth burrito in the Terminus District is at the above marked location in the shopping area.
Head there and go through the market while looking on the left side.
Take the path on the left and then the first right.
Head inside the shop.
You will find the burrito near the plate and cans on the item rack.
Burrito #10
The fifth burrito in the Terminus District is at the above marked location at a fruit shop.
Head there and look for the MR CUCUR shop that you see in the above screenshot.
The burrito is below the rack on the right side.
Burrito #11
The first burrito in the Fades District is at the above marked location, near Zadra’s hidden lab.
Head there, take out the enemies and head behind the stairs that you see in the above screenshot.
You will find the burrito on top of the containers.
Burrito #12
The second burrito in the Fades District is at the above location near the slum area.
Head there and look at the dead body hanging at the entrance of the Ripper Camp.
You will find the burrito. Shoot it.
Burrito #13
The third burrito in the Fades District is at the above marked location in the same slums area where you find the second one.
Head there and look on the left side of the small building with vines.
Below the inclined wooden board, you will find the burrito.
Burrito #14
The fourth burrito in the Fades District is hidden within plants found at the foot of a decorative tree at the above marked location.
Head there and make your way towards the tree.
You will find the burrito within the bush.
Burrito #15
The fifth burrito in the Fades District is at the above marked location near the swimming pool.
Head there and make your way towards the boombox near the pool.
Behind it, you will find the burrito. Shoot it.
Where to find Dave the Burrito in Borderlands 4
Dave the Burrito’s room is found in the Upper Dominion area. Teleport there.
Make your way towards the above marked location.
On the right side, you will find a waterfall-like area. The one that I have marked in the above screenshot.
Go through the falling water. On the right side, you will find the door, which should be unlocked if you shot down all 15 burritos within Dominion.
Head inside the room, and you will find Dave the Burrito.
How to unlock Guac is Extra trophy in Borderlands 4
To unlock the Guac is Extra trophy, head near Dave the Burrito, and that’s it. Sadly, you cannot interact with it.
