Once Human is a post-apocalyptic free-to-play third-person open-world game that gives you the vibes of Fallout 76, Rust, and such games.

It is an engaging game that will hook you with its world design, activities, enemy variety, challenging bosses, and myriad other features.

Once that is done, click on the field that says ā€˜Search by name or ID’ and enter your friends UID or IGN (in-game username). After that, you can select their ID and send them a friend request that they can accept from the ā€˜Request’ tab in the same menu.

Note

While you can have cross-server friends in Once Human, you can only join your friend if you are on the same server.

Another quick way to add friends in Once Human is by simply clicking on the players’ names from the world chat and using the ā€˜Add Friend’ option. If you don’t want the quick way, you can also find their UID there, which you can use to add them as friends anytime you deem suitable.

I think you can also add random players as friends while standing next to them and using the given options. However, while writing, I couldn’t find anyone. My friends were also offline, and I was hungry, so I didn’t check it.

So, you join your friend, standing right next to each other; you can also see each other’s icons on the mini-map but can’t find the character. This has happened to so many players that I made sure to talk about it in this guide.

The thing is, to play with your friend, you must both be on the same server and in the same World. If you don’t see each other, it means you are in different Worlds, and to play, you must either join your friend’s world or let them join yours.
