The Cold Crystal Ores is one of the new resources attached to the temperature mechanic in the game.
What makes the Cold Crystal Ore one of the most essential materials in the entire Scenario is that you need it to craft more reliable Cold Resistance items like Coldium and Ice Crystals.
At the same time, you also need to upgrade the Thermal Tower, which will play a major role in your survival in the second to last phase of the Scenario.
That said, as important as these Cold Crystal Ores are in the game, the more difficult it is to obtain them if you don’t know where to look.

Where to find Cold Crystal Ores in Once Human
In Once Human, you can find a ton of Cold Crystal Ores in the northwest part of the Vena Fjord region in northern Nalcott.
Head to the location marked in the above map screenshot. There, you will find more than 20 Cold Crystal Ore nodes that you can mine.
The Cold Crystal Ore nodes spawn all around the marked area and are very easy to collect if you know how to mine.
Frost Forge
The tunnel that leads to the Frost Forge interior is also a great spot to farm Cold Crystal Ores.
What makes the above spot an even better one is that the Cold Crystal Ore nodes spawn next to each other, meaning less Molotov use and high Cold Crystal Ore yield.
Onyx Tundra
You can also find a decent number of Cold Crystal Ores at the above-marked location in the Onyx Tundra region.
The above location is a great spot to mine Cold Crystal Ores because you can also mine Startrace Ores, as they spawn a lot within the area.
Glacier in the north
The glacier at the northern end of Onyx Tundra is the best place to farm Cold Crystal Ore and Bear Hides.

How to mine Cold Crystal Ores in Once Human
To mine the Cold Crystal Ore nodes in Once Human, you must throw a Molotov on them.
Once that is done, you can go near and mine the Cold Crystal Ore node as any other mineral using your Axe or Drill.
If you go near the Cold Crystal Ore without throwing a Molotov first, you will suffer from Hypothermia, and you will die.
The best Cold Crystal Ore farming spot in Once Human
The best farming spot for Cold Crystal Ores is the location I shared in the Vena Fjord, the green area west of Whalebone.
As I mentioned, more than 20 Cold Crystal Ore nodes spawn within the area.
It is more easily accessible and also offers a nearby Teleportation Tower that you can use to change worlds and keep farming the Cold Crystal Ores.
Update: I found two more great spots for farming cold crystal ores—the tunnel at Frost Forge and the glacier-like area at the north end of Onyx Tundra.
West of Whalebone is still a good spot for Cold Crystal Ores, but when it comes to farming them more efficiently and in high quantity, the above location in Onyx Tundra is the best.
