Whether you have started fresh or are moving from an old server, the most challenging choice players must make in the early few minutes of Once Human Prismverse’s Clash Scenario is to choose whether they should side with Mayflies or the Rosetta’s main antagonist faction, the Rosetta?
Once Human Prismverse’s Clash Scenario is all about faction war, and at its center, we have the Mayflies and the Rosetta.
Based on your decision, you get a different starting point, access to unique Memetic Specialization, NPCs, and approach to the quest for this Scenario.
Many more subtle differences make the decision to side with either of the two factions difficult.
So, to make things easier for you all, I am here with my guide on whether you should side with the Mayflies or the Rosetta in Once Human Prismverse’s Clash.
All differences between Mayflies and Rosetta factions

Here are the major differences between the Mayflies and the Rosetta in Once Human Prismverse’s Clash:
Update
Siding with a faction only decides the first Memetic Specialization. Later, even if you are a Mayfly, you can unlock the Rosetta Drone and vice versa.
Siding with the Mayflies

When you side with the Mayflies, there are three significant things that you get:
- Your strongholds are Meyer’s Market and Deadsville. [Deadsville is the starting point where you will find Talon]
- Your first Memetic Specialization is Legendary Mayfly, giving you access to Gene Extractor and Gene Coherence Injection. You can craft Gene Sync Potions using the Gene Fragments you get from killing Deviants to enhance your physical abilities and weapon damage and get unique effects.
- Your point of contact in the Mayflies are Talon and Ran.
Apart from that, there are subtle changes that I mentioned earlier. Like in Meyer’s Market and Deadsville, you will find guards and people from the Mayflies faction.
On the other hand, in the Rosetta-controlled safe zones, you will find Rosetta guards, Mary and Mr. Ames.
Siding with Rosetta

Similar to the Mayflies, when you side with the Rosetta, there are three major things that you get:
- Your strongholds are Blackfell and Greywater Camp. [Greywater Camp is the starting point where you will find Mary]
- You get the unique Memetic Specialization, Legendary Rosetta, for a customizable Drone that can follow and aid you in battle.
- Your point of contact in the Rosetta are Mary and Mr. Ames.
Apart from the above-listed differences, there are also dialogues and motives of each faction that differ.
However, that doesn’t have any significant effect.

Note
Irrespective of which faction you choose, you can visit each other’s Strongholds as they are Safe Zones for both factions. However, outside of it, the remaining areas are PvP-enabled zones.
Should you side with Rosetta or Mayflies in Once Human Prismverse’s Clash?

The final decision depends on your preferences, assuming you have read the guide so far and checked the significant differences between Rosetta and the Mayflies faction.
If you like a drone companion right from the get-go and don’t care much about morals and siding with the bad guys, you can side with Rosetta.
On the other hand, if you are someone who cannot be a bad person, even in video games, siding with the Mayflies is your only choice.

If you ask me, I would say that if you are someone starting a brand new character like me (thanks to me being an Idiot who moved both PvE Level 50 characters to the Hard server and never created a PvP one), choosing the Mayflies is good as you get early level supplies within the safe zone.

On the other hand, if you are moving from Evolution’s Call server and already have a ton of Starchrom and other resources, siding with Rosetta is good as you can quickly level up and will have the end-game resources near your Strongholds.
Which faction are you siding with? Let me know in the comments.
