Elemental Tree Harvest: Manawastes is one of the five Exploration quests in the Manawaste area of the Stonegard region.
While the quest is simple and mainly centered around maneuvering and platforming to reach one location to another until you reach the last Old Elemental Tree’s location, many players get stuck.
Skipping the quest is not an option, as there are some very important upgrade materials locked behind it, along with the Sand Basilisk Morph.

How to unlock Elemental Tree Harvest: Manawastes quest in Throne and Liberty
In Throne and Liberty, you can unlock the Elemental Tree Harvest: Manawastes quest by activating the Manawastes waypoint.
Here’s the location where you can find the waypoint:
Aside from that, you must also be at least level 38 to unlock the quest.

Elemental Tree Harvest: Manawastes quest walkthrough
The Elemental Tree Harvest: Manawastes quest consists of three major objectives. These are:
- Commune with the Small Elemental Tree at Manawastes
- Follow the Elemental Spirit and pass all of the Old Elemental Trees at Manawastes
- Check the health of Manawastes’s Small Elemental Tree
Here’s how to complete each section of the quest:
Commune with the Small Elemental Tree at Manawastes
Communing with the Small Elemental Tree is the first objective you can complete by simply interacting with the Elemental Tree located slightly south of Demon’s Crossroad.
Small Elemental Tree location
The Small Elemental Tree is on top of a platform you can reach using your grappling hook.
Alternatively, if you are coming from the Manawastes Waypoint, you can also use the Glide Morph to reach there.
Use whatever method you prefer and interact with the Small Elemental Tree.
Doing so will progress the quest and task you to follow a trail of Old Elemental Trees.

Follow the Elemental Spirit and pass all of the Old Elemental Trees at Manawastes
In this section of the quest, you must follow the Elemental Spirit, a blue light coming out of ethereal Old Elemental Trees.
There are five Old Elemental Trees. Touching one reveals the other’s location.
To simplify things, I have shared the location of all five Old Elemental Trees in the order they appear.
Old Elemental Tree 1 location
Old Elemental Tree 2 location
Old Elemental Tree 3 location
From the second Tree location, climb the delipidated stadium-like structure using grappling.
Use the grappling again to reach the cliffside, where you will find the third Old Elemental Tree.
Old Elemental Tree 4 location
Old Elemental Tree 5 location
Remember that you must touch the Old Elemental Trees in order, or else they will not spawn.
Now, of to the last section of the quest!
Check the health of Manawastes’s Small Elemental Tree
This is the simplest objective to complete, as following the ethereal Old Elemental Trees trail will lead you to the top of a pillar at the Sanctuary Oasis.
From there, all you have to do is use the Glide Morph to reach the land on your left side.
There you will find the Small Elemental Tree!
You can interact with it to complete the Elemental Tree Harvest: Manawastes quest.
