If you are finding it hard to reach Saurodoma Island in the game to activate the Waypoint for fast travel, unlocking associated Exploration quests, and other things, my guide on how to reach and activate the Saurodoma Island Waypoint in Throne and Liberty will come in handy.
The Saurodoma Island is one of the end-game areas in Throne and Liberty, with the recommended level being 50.
Irrespective of that, once players arrive at Kastleton after the prologue, they can get to Saurodoma Island and activate the Waypoint.
But the way to get there is not simple at all!
The Saurodoma Island is a remote location in the southeast part of Solisium. While you can swim directly to the island, you won’t be able to activate the waypoint as it is unreachable.
In the wake of that, many players find it hard to reach and activate the Saurodoma Island Waypoint.
Moreover, as I mentioned earlier, you need to activate the Waypoint not only to unlock a fast travel point.
But also to explore the island and complete Exploration Codex quests, farm mobs, and materials.
So, without further ado, let us check how you can get to the Saurodoma Island Waypoint and activate it in Throne and Liberty.
Update: I have verified the details on Feb 18, 2025.
How to get to the Saurodoma Island Waypoint in Throne and Liberty

In Throne and Liberty, you can get to the Saurodoma Island Waypoint via the Giagantrite.
For players who don’t know, the Gigantrite is the giant whale that flies around Solisium.

You can get on his back by climbing on top of the Starlight Observatory Ruins and gliding to his back.
I have a detailed guide covering the Giagantrite’s location, spawn, how to get on top, etc. Check it out for more details.
I have explored Saurodoma Island, looking for a grappling point to reach the apex where the Saurodoma Island Waypoint is located.

But sadly, I couldn’t find any!

So, at the moment, the only way to get to the Saurodoma Island Waypoint is through the Gigantrite.
Reaching the Saurodoma Island Waypoint

Even if you get on top of the Gigantrite, reaching the Saurodoma Island Waypoint is difficult if you don’t manage your stamina and jump from the right spot.

So, after you are on top of the Gigantrite, make your way to the front and get near the edge of the Gigantrite’s horn.
Stand there until the Gigantrite is near the island. Jump only when you are closest to the island.
Note
If you are rubberbanding—which most of you will—please pay attention while moving toward the edge of Gigantrite’s horn.
Here’s a video guide from me showing how you can activate the Saurodoma Island Waypoint:
How to reach Saurodoma Island in Throne and Liberty

The best way to reach Saurodoma Island, “not the Saurodoma Island Waypoint,” is via the Daybreak Shores.
Head there and climb on top of the tower south of the Daybreak Shores, as shown in the screenshot below.

Glide to the small aisle that was also associated with the Measuring Cooperation Exploration quest.

From there, swim to the Saurodoma Island docks and follow the main path.

You will eventually arrive at the center of the island.
If reaching Saurodoma Island is your goal and not activating the Waypoint, I recommend swimming to the island rather than waiting for the Gigantrite to spawn.
