The Aegon’s Dream is a Legendary Vladof assault rifle in Borderlands 4 that comes with a massive magazine size, a very high fire rate, great damage, and a unique Legendary effect exclusive to the weapon.

The weapon’s name might sound familiar to you because it is a Game of Thrones easter egg and refers to Aegon Targaryen.

In this guide, I talked about its special Legendary effect, how to obtain it in Borderlands 4, and a few other things.

Borderlands 4 Aegon’s Dream special weapon effect and stats

The Aegon’s Dream comes with the Prophetic Legendary effect that makes the weapon fire both Cryo and Incendiary rounds.

Finish the song!

Unlike most Legendary effects that come with a description in the item itself, Aegon’s Dream’s Prophetic Legendary effect has no description.

But Game of Thrones fans would already know, Aegon’s Dream was also called The Song of Ice and Fire.

And that is why the effect is called Prophetic, and the weapon alternates between Cryo and Incendiary.

The above screenshot gives you a basic overview of a Level 17 Aegon’s Dream weapon’s stats.

How to get Aegon’s Dream Legendary in Borderlands 4

You can get the Aegon’s Dream Legendary from Horace.

You can find Horace at Horace’s Oversight in the Fadefields region.

He is an early game mandatory boss.

In case you are just starting with the game or haven’t yet progressed the main story at all, you fight Horace during the main mission, Down and Outbound.

Once you complete the mission, Moxxi’s Encore Machine for Horace will appear near the Vending Machines right before the boss arena.

That concludes my Borderlands 4 Aegon’s Dream legendary assault rifle guide. If the guide helped, make sure to set The Based Otaku as your search preference. You can also share the guide with your friends or leave a comment.
