How Rush Saved Mercenary Day is the first Bounty Pack in a series of four, which is finally available on PC, PlayStation and Xbox platforms as of now.

It is a short DLC that features new main missions where you team up with Rush in a fight against the Timekeeper’s Minister of Culture, Screw, to show him the true meaning of Mercenary Day.

The prerequisite to accessing the DLC content is to ensure you have purchased it via any of the following means:

• You own the Borderlands 4 Deluxe or Super Deluxe Edition (both include the Bounty Pack Bundle)
• You own the Bounty Pack Bundle that includes Bounty Pack 1.
• You have purchased the Bounty Pack 1 individually

How to start How Rush Saved Mercenary Day Bounty Pack main quest in Borderlands 4

In Borderlands 4, you can start the How Rush Saved Mercenary Day quest by interacting with the Gift Box found at all the main hub locations.

The first quest in the questline is called “The War On Mercenary Day.”

Since The Launchpad is the one easily accessible to all players, I am taking it as the starting point for this questline. Teleport there.

Once you spawn, exit the room via the ladder in front of you.

After you reach the ground floor, head straight. On the table on the right side, you will find the Gift Box.

Interact with it and let the cutscene end.

And that is it. The quest will be active and ready to progress.
