How to download Warzone on PS5
You can download Warzone on your PS5 via the COD HQ, available via the PlayStation Store.
Here’s the complete steps that you have to follow:
Open PlayStation Store
Start your PS5 and go to the PlayStation Store, which is located on the left side of the UI.
Search for Call of Duty or Warzone
In the PlayStation Store, navigate to the 🔍 option and press the ‘X’ button. Now, search for ‘Warzone’ or ‘Call of Duty.’
Open the Call of Duty store page
Click on the first result that says Call of Duty with the tags PS5/PS4.
Click on More option
Right next to the download or play button, click on the ‘• • •’ button and choose the option that says, ‘Select Version.’
Download COD HQ PS5
You will get three results. (This may vary depending on when you read this guide.) Select Call of Duty PS5 > Click on the Download button > Select COD HQ and begin the download process.
Note
This step is not required if you have already selected the PS5 version. You can directly click on Download and select COD HQ.
Open COD HQ and navigate to Warzone
After downloading the COD HQ, open it and skip through all the intros and battle pass info.
Use the left stick to go down in the Hub area until you find the Warzone section.
Select any of the Warzone game modes
In the Warzone section, select any of the game modes. When you do that, you will get the ‘Manage Files’ screen.
Select it, and you will be taken to the file manager, where you will find Warzone ‘NOT INSTALLED.’

Don’t worry. Click on any game mode, and if it asks for another file to download, download it; otherwise, it will take you to the file manager menu once again, where you can select Call of Duty Warzone to begin the installation process.

The above method is how you download Warzone 2.0. There are no two versions of Warzone to download. After the release of Warzone 2.0, it became the default Warzone.
For example, with Black Ops 6, we are getting yet another complete rework of Warzone, which some people are also calling Warzone 3.0.
But that doesn’t mean. It will be available as a separate download.
TLDR: The Warzone you see on COD HQ is the latest Warzone.
