Hand that Consoles Souls is one of the many Codex Exploration quests in the Forest of the Great Tree area of the Talandre region.
In this quest, you are tasked to collect and deliver Elven Souls at The Heaven Ceremony of the Great Tree.
And, also collect something called the Soul Flower.
While the quest seems straightforward, many players don’t know much about The Heaven Ceremony of the Great Tree.
As a result, they fail to find the Soul Flower and are also unable to collect Elven Souls.
So keep reading my walkthrough guide as I share in detail how you can get and complete Hand that Consoles Souls quest in Throne and Liberty.
How to unlock Hand that Consoles Souls Exploration quest
In Throne and Liberty, you can unlock the Hand that Consoles Souls Exploration quest by unlocking the Forest of the Great Tree Waypoint.
For players who don’t know, the Forest of the Great Tree is located west of Herba Village.
That said, apart from the waypoint, you must also be at least level 46 or above to take on the said Exploration quest.
Assuming you meet the above two criteria, you can head to the main menu -> Codex -> Exploration tab -> Talandre region -> Forest of the Great Tree tab -> Hand that Consoles Souls.
Hand that Consoles Souls Exploration quest walkthrough
Hand that Consoles Souls Exploration quest in Throne and Liberty has three main objectives.
These are:
- Possess Elven Soul x50 at The Heaven Ceremony of the Great Tree (0/1)
- Collect Soul Flower at The Heaven Ceremony of the Great Tree (0/1)
- Deliver Elven Soul at The Heaven Ceremony of the Great Tree (0/1)
Completing the above objectives can be easy and hard at the same time.
It all depends on when you are trying to complete the quest.
The Heaven Ceremony of the Great Tree has PvP and PvE instances, and the above quest can be completed in any!
Tips
If you are a solo player, I recommend waiting until the [Peace] The Heaven Ceremony of the Great Tree event starts to finish the Hand that Consoles Souls Exploration quest.
Doing it in PvP mode is challenging and infuriating for a solo and new player without a good build.

The Heaven Ceremony of the Great Tree is a dynamic event in Throne and Liberty that takes place in the Forest of the Great Tree area of Talandre.
It is also known as The Passage Ceremony of the Great Tree.
There are peaceful and PvP instances of the event, and we even have guild battles.
That said, when it comes to starting the event for the quest, all you can do is wait until it automatically starts.
After all, it is a dynamic event.
So, press the L2 + △ or the LT + Y buttons on your controller to access the extra menu.
Now, select the Content Schedule option.
There, you can see all the current and upcoming dynamic events and such things.
Check when the next The Heaven Ceremony of the Great Tree event is and wait until that time.
Once the event starts, you can complete the quest objectives.
Possess Elven Soul x50 at The Heaven Ceremony of the Great Tree
You can collect Elven Soul by interacting with Soul Flowers that spawn within the Forest of the Great Tree area while The Heaven Ceremony of the Great Tree event is live.
Each Soul Flower drops 15 Elven Souls.
So, in total, you must find and interact with at least 4 Soul Flowers.
Alternatively, you can also take out the Orcs in the event area to collect Elven Souls.
However, I find the Soul Flower method a lot easier and quicker.
Collect Soul Flower at The Heaven Ceremony of the Great Tree
Soul Flowers are an event-exclusive gatherable plant that only spawn during the different versions of The Heaven Ceremony of the Great Tree event.
While the event is live, you can wait for the announcer to talk about the Soul Flower spawn area.
During the PvP version in particular, the announcer mentions that the Soul Flowers have spawned near Ogre Village, etc.
Alternatively, you can also explore the Forest of the Great Tree area while the event is live to find them as they are hard to miss.
Once you spot one, go near and interact to complete the objective and progress the quest.
I have marked two of the best spawn areas of the Soul Flower in Throne and Liberty in the above map screenshot.
You can find plenty of Soul Flowers near the Ogre Village area.
As you can see, there are also not many enemies around, making collecting the Soul Flower a lot easier.
Deliver Elven Soul at The Heaven Ceremony of the Great Tree
You can deliver the collected Elven Soul to the Sacred Wolpertinger.
They appear on the map when The Heaven Ceremony of the Great Tree event is active, as you can see in the above map screenshot.
Once you have collected Elven Souls, make sure you don’t die.
As when you die, you lose all the collected Elven Souls.
That said, once you have 50 or more, head to the Sacred Wolpertinger and interact with it to deposit the souls and complete the quest.
