If you are unable to get Essence Bomb in the Shattered Veil map, you must know all the white box spawn locations in Black Ops 6 Zombies to improve your chances of getting one. This is where my guide comes in handy.
Essence Bomb is one of the key items that you need to open the path to Serpent’s Mound.
For players who don’t know, the Serpent’s Mound is a hidden location within the Shattered Veil map.
It holds a Canister machine and the ritual ground where you can place an Empty Canister and perform a ritual using two Reflectors to obtain one of the three Ray Gun Mark II upgrades.
In short, you need the Essence Bomb to progress the Shattered Veil main quest.
As without the Ray Gun Mark II upgrade, you won’t be able to complete the latter steps of the main quest.
That said, while obtaining the Essence Bomb is a lot easier compared to other key items like the Severed Arm, the drop depends on RNG.
So, to make things easier, I have prepared this detailed guide on how to get and use the Essence Bomb in Black Ops 6 Zombies.
While also sharing all white wooden box locations as the Essence Bomb has a chance to drop when you destroy one.
How to get Essence Bomb in Shattered Veil in Black Ops 6 Zombies
You can get Essence Bomb as a random drop from destroying the white wooden boxes found all around the Shattered Veil map.
The wooden box that you see in the above screenshot is what you are looking for.
In each run, you must destroy them for a chance to get the Essence Bomb.
The wooden boxes don’t respawn, and that is why you must know the different spawn locations to get the Essence Bomb in case you are not lucky in the first few tries.
Where to use the Essence Bomb in the Shattered Veil map in Black Ops 6 Zombies
You can use the obtained Essence Bomb on the rubble found in the Service Tunnel area at the above marked location.
Head there, get close to the rubble, and press the interact button while having the Essence Bomb.
Doing so will place the bomb, which goes off in one to two seconds.
Once the path is clear, you can follow it to reach the Serpent Mound where you can use the Reflectors and Empty Canister to perform a ritual and get one of the Ray Gun Mark II upgrades.
All white box spawn locations in Shattered Veil in Black Ops 6 Zombies
Here are all the white wooden box spawns in the Shattered Veil map that I have managed to find so far:
White wooden box 1 location
The first wooden box is located in the Lower Terrance area at the above marked location.
Head there and you will find the wooden box near the stairs.
White wooden box 2 location
The second wooden box is located in Shem’s Henge at the above marked location.
It is near one of the big boulders where you perform the ritual to get the Explosive Canister.
White wooden box 3 location
The third wooden box is located in the Upper Terrace area at the above marked location.
Head near the conservatory’s main entrance, and you will find the box on the left side.
White wooden box 4 location
The fourth wooden box is located inside the Conservatory at the above marked location.
Head inside the Conservatory and make your way near the stairs leading to the first floor.
On the right side of the zombie spawn, you will find the wooden box.
White wooden box 5 location
The fifth wooden box is located in the Motor Court area at the above marked location.
Head there and look on the right side of the Colton Hall main entrance,
Right in front of the zombie spawn, you will find the wooden box.
White wooden box 6 location
The sixth wooden box is found in the Study area at the above marked location.
Head there and you will find the box near the chair.
White wooden box 7 location
The seventh wooden box is located in the East Balcony area at the above marked location.
Head there and you will find it on the right side of the zombie spawn.
White wooden box 8 location
The eighth wooden box is located in the West Balcony area at the above marked location.
Make your way to the West Balcony, and you will find it on the right side of the blue spore plant spawn, near one of the stone benches.
White wooden box 9 location
The ninth wooden box is located in the West Hallways area at the above marked location.
Make your way there and you will find it next to the server rack.
White wooden box 10 location
The tenth wooden box is located in the Service Tunnel area at the above marked location.
Head there, and you will be able to spot it on the right side of the generator and the construction lights.
White wooden box 11 location
The eleventh wooden box is also located in the Service Tunnel area.
Head to the marked location and you will be able to spot it in the right corner.
White wooden box 12 location
The Twelfth wooden box is located within the Mainframe Chamber at the above marked location.

Head there and you will find it on the right side of the door leading to the Service Tunnel area.
