Don’t know where to find Reptilian Butcher in Throne and Liberty to complete Contracts? You need something called Thick Reptilian Tail to summon the enemy type. This is what my guide is about. It covers the Reptilian Butcher’s location in the game, how to get Thick Reptilian Tail, and how to use it at a summoning altar to spawn the Reptilian Butcher.

As you may know, the Reptilians are an end-game enemy you can find on Saurodoma Island, located southeast of Solisium.

When you arrive at the island through the Gigantrite or via the docks by swimming to the island from the Daybreak Shores or any other location, you will find a variety of Reptilian enemies.

We have the Reptilian Fighters, the Reptilian Sentry, and the elite ones, the Reptilian Butcher, sort of a mini-boss.

All the Reptilians in the game are associated with quests and challenges, primarily the Contracts you can take and complete to earn a ton of EXP along with upgrade materials and other lucrative rewards.

While finding the regular ones like the Reptilian Fighter and Reptilian Sentry is a piece of cake when it comes to the Reptilian Butcher, a whole different process is involved.

So keep reading my guide as I explain how to obtain the Thick Reptilian Tail and use it to summon the Reptilian Butcher in Throne and Liberty.

Update: I have verified the walkthrough on Feb 18, 2025.

How to get Thick Reptilian Tail in Throne and Liberty

In Throne and Liberty, you can get the Thick Reptilian Tail by collecting 20 Lizard Tails by defeating the regular Reptilian enemies like:

  • Reptilian Soldier
  • Reptilian Fighter
  • Reptilian Sentry

When you get a Lizard Tail, a blue icon will appear below the Mana bar with a timer that says 10 minutes.

You must farm the above-listed mobs to keep collecting the Lizard Tail that changes into the Thick Reptilian Tail once you have collected 20.

Collecting a Lizard Tail resets the expiry timer, and that is why you don’t have to worry much about it.

Another thing to remember is that—if you are playing in a party, ensure only one person finally defeats the mobs.

That is because the person who gets the killing blow gets the Lizard Tail.

So it makes no sense for every party member to keep getting the killing blows and slow down the process of getting the Thick Reptilian Tail.

Throne and Liberty Brazier of Ressurection location

You can find the Brazier of Ressurection required for summoning the Reptilian Butcher using the Thick Reptilian Tail right next to camp in the central part of Saurodoma Island.

Here’s the exact location of the Brazier of Ressurection:

Throne and Liberty Reptilian Butcher location

The Reptilian Butcher spawns near the Brazier of Ressurection once you use the Thick Reptilian Tail to summon it.

Assuming you have followed the guide so far, you will have no issue summoning and defeating the Reptilian Butcher.

Pro Tip

Just stand near the brazier and let other players summon the Reptilian Butcher. When the boss spawns, deal enough damage, and you will be able to complete the quest.

That concludes my Throne and Liberty Reptilian Butcher location guide, which also covered how to get Thick Reptilian Tail and use it to summon the said enemy. If the article helped, please consider buying me a Coffee to help me create more content. You can also share the guide with your friends or leave a comment.
