If you have been enjoying your time in Rinascita and are looking forward to the new characters, area, events, quests, and such things coming with the next major update, I am here to help you out with details on the Wuthering Waves 2.1 release date, a handy countdown timer, the re-runs and banner details and more.
As you may already know, Wuthering Waves 2.0 ‘All Silent Souls Can Sing” was released on January 2, 2025, and is currently underway at the time of writing.
While the new major update expanded the game’s story and took players to a whole new region called Rinascita whilst also adding new playable characters, Carlotta and Roccia, and other things, many players are looking forward to the next update.
This includes me, too!
Even though I have yet to complete the last few acts of the main story and 100% Rinascita exploration, thanks to the drip marketing from Kuro Games and the leaks from version 2.1 beta, I am already hyped for the next update.
Why, you may ask?
Because not only we are getting Phoebe and Brant, two new ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ characters.
We are also getting yet another area expansion, a new boss, elites and Echoes, weapons, events, and possible re-runs, along with events and continuation of the main quest with many side quests.
So, without any further ado, let us check out when is Wuthering Waves 2.1 coming out, the banner details, and such things.
When is the Wuthering Waves 2.1 update coming out?
Wuthering Waves 2.1 update will be released on February 13, 2025, at 11:00 (UTC+8).
While Kuro Games has not yet shared the release date for the update and is subject to change, thanks to the usual systematic release schedule, we can expect the update on the above date.
But if there are any changes to the release date or time, I will update it as soon as possible.

When will version 2.1 update maintenance start and end?
Similar to the past updates, the maintenance for the Wuthering Waves 2.1 update will begin at 04:00 and will end at 11:00 (UTC+8).
Once the maintenance is over, you will be able to log into the game and also claim the maintenance compensation, which includes Astrite x300 and Crystal Solvent x2.

Kuro Games has confirmed the main banners for version 2.1, Phoebe and Brant’s.
Other than that, we are also getting a Changli re-run banner.
Initially, there were some leaks that suggested that we may get Shorekeeper re-run during version 2.1.
But it didn’t age well, as new leaks suggest the Shorekeeper re-run may appear during version 2.3.
